I never thought I'd take time to 5 star review a drivers license office, but Christie Jester, the manager over there was so incredibly awesome, and their staff has always been so available and kind that I had to do it!! The state has some really silly policies when it came to the seemingly simple task of renewing my tag. (That's right, I said renewal of my tags). The state of Missouri for God knows what reason required my out of state title to be transferred to Missouri from Oregon in a very specific yet vague way. Since I pay on a loan, Chase Bank was required to provide it in this very specific way that they didn't understand either. I made the request multiple times and it was always wrong, even though I used the state provided forms. I kept getting copies of my title in a digital format that I still don't even understand was somehow unacceptable to Missouri. Christie Jester, manager at this office remembered me after I tried to renew my tags multiple times but couldn't because the state wasn't satisfied in Jeff City. After the most unnecessary administrative battle of my life with a big bank and obscure government regulation, this wonderful human being literally took ownership of the issue on my behalf, called and faxed Chase with explicit instructions, and even had them send it directly to her office so that she could resolve my issue! It was an act of mercy by this point!! I had tried on my own 5 different times for almost a year, and had been to another office a few times and got the kind of treatment comedians joke about when thinking DMV! So imagine my pleasant surprise when a local human being helped me with compassion and finally made it possible to complete my "simple" renewal. 5 gold stars for Christie Jester and the team she manages. This is the best drivers license office in the entire world. After she finally received the document in the proper format, she called me personally to follow up. Seriously, the world would be a better place if she was in charge. Incredible service and professionalism. Seriously amazing support getting me through it!! Somebody needs to promote this woman. We had a GREAT experience at the Versailles license bureau . We were greeted with smiles from all the women at the front desk . Just naturally nice people . Our girl was fast ,efficient and informative . Very pleasant experience, unlike the one we had at the Warsaw office . They shouldn’t be in customer service because they obviously don’t like people. Don’t take it personal though they were equally as rude to everyone I observed. She caused us at least 2 unnecessary trips and neglected to ask us if we were pulling a trailer with our truck so we winded up getting a tag that was not sufficient for the weight. Thank goodness the girl at Versailles office mentioned it while taking care of us.she said for us to bring in the tags we just got and they will credit me toward the correct tags. Went here to get my car legalized and get my plates transferred and they can’t even do a simple job? Have to get new plates because they can’t transfer my plates from my old car to the new one I left there about 4 months ago thinking it was transferred and I got pulled over because it wasn’t and my grandma had to go back today to get them transferred since I wasn’t able to make it there and they said they couldn’t do that and had to get new plates. What dmv can’t transfer plates I have never had an issue before I had these plates since my first truck and had 3 other cars since then and was never a problem for other dmvs. Yall need to learn better if you can’t do...
