Learning Express Toys — Local services in Vestavia Hills

We found out about a store through an Instagram. The girl who is always making video seemed so bubbly and funny. So we expected to be met with joy and happiness, kinda "yaj we are so happy that y'all drove 2 hours to come see us"...but no. We were met with an icy cold, no one came talk to us, no one smile to me or my kid, the dark hair girl were packing something and looked as if she hates every customer and her job altogether. Cashiers were busy doing something with boxes..anyway considering that there is not that many customers in a store on a given day and here are us (we buy the way spent 189$ that's a lot for toys and pop its) and no one payed us any attention..my kid said "I don't like this store, no one talked to me". Sad, but not coming any more, unfollowing Instagram account. Nice toys, zero kids service...I mean come people you are a toy store. Would yall came.talk.to my kid and show him different toys we probably would have...

I had such a great time shopping at the Learning Express in Cahaba Heights that I had to write a review. I visited from out of town and I needed gifts for all of the grands. The store was very busy, but the precious, little salesgirl knew just what I needed. I think her name was Ellina? She asked me what my grandkids were interested in, and their ages, and then she suggested the best gifts for each child! They all loved everything I purchased! She also wrapped everything for free, and did a beautiful job. It was excellent, concierge level service. Even though it was busy, everything was efficient, and I never felt rushed. I will definitely go back when I am in town again. I know my grandkids...

I love this store!! I was searching around for some calico critters because i’d had a hard time finding them in my area. I was pleasantly surprised to find an entire back wall stocked full of them! I was also happy to see a nice selection of jellycat plush which is another brand i’m fond of 😊💜 very nice and helpful staff working here as well, I look forward to coming back...
