Cookie Fix- Cahaba Heights — Restaurant in Vestavia Hills

I love Cookie Fix, and was excited to discover this location. As usual, the cookies were high quality and delicious. I purchased 3 frozen cookie dough bags, and one Cookie Butter Crunch cookie to-go.

Now, on to my reasoning for this not being a 5-star review. When I arrived around 11:30am on Saturday, 4/2, the store was completely vacant except for 3 or 4 staff members. When I entered, two of the staff members were intensely taking stock of the frozen cookies. It took a while for me to be acknowledged despite having 4 sets of eyes on me when I entered, and finally the greeting I received after the stares was not friendly. Essentially, the vibes I got expressed that they’d rather I not be there. As I stood back assessing the products in the freezer, the girls counting inventory made no attempt to make it easier for me to make a selection…as if it would be too burdensome to ask if I needed assistance.

When I checked out, my total was $72 with a recommended $15 tip on the iPad register. This recommendation was absolutely absurd to me considering that I didn’t receive the level of service I believe constitutes a $15 tip at a self-service store. When I tipped $3, the girl ringing me up gave a pointed stare at another coworker—and it was very easy for me to read what that stare was communicating.

As a customer spending $75 for cookies, this was just not the customer service experience I expect or look forward to. I will not return to this location, unfortunately, even though it’s much more convenient to the...

One of my friends got me a giftcard to here as a thank you present. He knows I have a big sweet tooth and I talk about Cookie Fix all the time.I love the Homewood Cookie Fix with its adorable, 30 sq ft floor plan. However, I was on 280 and hadn’t gotten to try any of Cookie Fix’s booty bars so I had to stop in. The Cahaba Heights location is huge in comparison and has a sunny, spacious outdoor seating area with about 5 tables. The staff were also super sweet and efficient too. The booty bar and the “over-the-top” specials are not to be missed. I learned that they rotate each month, so if you miss it then you might not see it for multiple months!! If only I had known sooner, I would’ve been visited weekly for the PB...

Cookie Fix is my all-time favorite cookie place ever. If you want a REAL cookie, this place is it. The biggest, chewiest, chocolatiest cookies you will ever eat are here. I personally love the Presidential or a classic M&M, but they also have amazing over the top flavors as well as twists on other classic cookies.
