In January of this year I purchased two commercial grade washing machines from Miller’s appliance and needed some work done on one of these machines. Now mind you, as I said these are commercial grade machines that we purchased for our RV Park. Well from the moment I arrived, the owner begin to lecture me that just because they are commercial machines does not mean we can use them for commercial use, and that the manufacturer would have a problem with that. He went on to tell me, this would be a problem for the manufacture and that he was not going to risk his business by repairing (commercial) machines being used for commercial purposes. That was the dumbest thing I had ever heard, and lastly, in no way did I ever suggest that Miller Appliance absorb the cost for any repairs that resulted from tenant misuse. I would have been more than happy to pay for that. But instead, all I got was the owner doing his best to talk over me and not allowing me to speak. Though Millers Appliance has been around a long time, I now see why they are a subpar business on the south side of town. They have no business etiquette whatsoever… Only an owner and service techs who think they are smarter than people with truly successful businesses.    Read moreBeware of this company. My fridge wasn't cooling so I called Miller Appliance on a Friday afternoon. Bruce said the damper flap was stuck that allowed cold air from the freezer into the fridge. He used a screwdriver to push open the flap and said that may free up the gear. Call me if it does not fix the problem. By the next day it was apparent the problem was not fixed. I called him Monday morning and said it looks like the damper needs replacing. He said he'll order the part, approximately $150, and charge me parts and labor. Then says, of course I'll have to charge you another service fee of $108. After discussing his failure to fix the problem during his first visit then attempt to charge me another $108 service fee three days later, I knew I would no longer do business with Bruce or his company. He came in and told me not to talk with because she has work to do and if i continue to talk with her he will charge me double. I thought he was joking but the look on his face i knew he was serious. I said know more. I'm from San Antonio had came to Victoria to buy a used heater. I had only went to miller appliance to get the heater change from propane to natural gas. I was there from about 10:10am to after 4:00pm. When he told me he was finish he left leaving a male employee to cash me out. The bill was outrageous there were no part need just a drill bit to make the line bigger for natural gas. For two heater he charge $233.00. I really feel he over charge me and that why I'm writing this. I will never offer this...
