Somers Amoco — Local services in Village of Somers

My husband ordered food from chesters and literally lives down the road. When he got home the fries were like cardboard and the bread on the chicken sandwich was so hard you could break a tooth. The Mac n cheese noodles were getting hard from sitting and tasted like they weren't cooked all the way. When we took the food back the same lady who served it snapped and said the fries were put out at 4pm they're fresh. I offered for her to try one and she said I don't need to, I eat here everyday. I'm pretty sure when a customer brings back the food with complaints staff isn't supposed to come back with argument statements. She snapped and said, so what do you want? I asked for fresh food and she claimed the fryer was broke. I said then I guess a refund. We will never eat the chesters chicken again! And it's very disappointing that all the other staff has always been polite, but the lady named Lori needs more training on customer service or if she hates her job, find...

The prices are out of control. They charge triple what Kwik Trip charges. Save your self the money and go to the BP across the street or a Kwik Trip.

The employees at the subway are pretty rude and usually hanging out at the tables eating, rather than working. The employees on the golden oil side are pretty nice. This is surprising considering the working conditions. The last time I was in there a guy was screaming and talking terrible to one of them. When I asked who it was they said "that's the owner". I was shocked someone would talk to their staff like that. She was in tears and clearly afraid of him. I feel bad...

I tried the Subway inside the new Amoco. This is my first visit to a Subway since their new menu items. I love their "new" whole eggs (you can see the white and the yolk). The "new eggs have more flavor and are NOT TOO thick like the Mc D's kind. I do not like the "new" Toasted Hearty Multigrain Bread. The Honey Oat Bread Subway had WAS MUCH BETTER. HONEY OAT BREAD HAD TASTE this new multigrain bread has no taste. I regularly eat Multigrain breads. The staff on Sat. 9/5 were were friendly and helpful.
