Ugh. So sad! This place used to be so great. My boyfriend and I went in to order and waited a good while before being addressed. That, I understand. They were completely slammed. When we ordered, the girl at the register didn’t seem to know how to ring our order up correctly, and even overcharged us for a meal we regularly order that she told us “no one really ever gets.” She could be new, so again, I get that, and didn’t say anything. We waited a good long time for our order, and the girl who was putting together the orders to go decided to bag our stuff and then check her snapchat for awhile before telling the cashier that the order was ready. My boyfriend had to go up and ask for the food from the to-go girl himself because she turned her back and went back to her phone. Then, when we got home, his dinner had no tortillas, and my fish tacos (their “Friday-only special”) were awful. I don’t know what kind of fish it was, but it stunk up my whole living room, which good cooked fish should not do. I really tried to eat them, I just couldn’t palette the stuff, and my boyfriend also didn’t enjoy his tortilla-less dinner. I don’t know if it was just an off night for them or what, and I never write reviews, but I am soooo extremely salty after wasting $30 here tonight for a dinner we couldn’t eat! Get off Snapchat, please, and do what you’re getting paid to do. I feel like at least half of the disappointment could’ve been avoided. Ordering fish tacos from anywhere is a gamble, so that’s my own damn fault, but get off your phone unless you’re the one taking the...

Horrible horrible horrible I was there on Halloween night and again today 12/12 of 2020. Both times had to drive 25 minutes back to the restaurant to go have my order corrected apparently they cannot seem to understand how to make sure that the food is in the bag correctly today I ordered 15 tamales I get home I have 12 tamales and three hardshell tacos. Both times had to drive 25 minutes back to the restaurant to go have my order corrected apparently they cannot seem to understand how to make sure that the food is in the bag correctly. I know you’re all saying why didn’t you check your food before you left that is because they tied the bag close therefore it should already be correct. When I spoke to the manager he said that the back staff had a hard time reading what the girl at the counter wrote down palm seems funny to me as the boy who took my money ring me up for 15 tamales he could read it just fine. Also the girl on the phone asked me if I want it hot or mild sauce I said I would like mild please when I got home I had one hot sauce. Explain to me what I’m going to do with one hot sauce and 15 tamales Also the girl on the phone asked me if I want it hot or mild sauce I said I would like mild please when I got home I had one hot sauce. Explain to me what I’m going to do with one hot sauce and 15 tamales. I think three mild sauces would’ve been appropriate however I think I will start going to tacos El Norte where my order has always been correct Tacos El Rey has not been the same since they left and went to Racine and came back good...

Usually I get take out and it's delicious. Dining-in is not table service. Staff is thin, like everywhere, but friendly and accommodating. Now the food, soooo good! I love their enchiladas! I get a cheese and chicken combination, sauced and cheesed perfectly. The chicken is so tender and seasoned on point. Beans and rice are fresh and delicious. I'm a huge fan of the bean and sirloin burrito to go, with a large nacho, and taking them to the beer garden ( at Pets), though they have full complement of beers and Mexican drinks with fountain soda. If you want quick Mexican food, food is ready in 5-10 minutes, give them a call. Coming in, you wait in a queue of 1 or 2 people, so calling ahead is recommended. Closed Monday's. Try the hot Churros! Yum yum!

Call ahead well in advance for carry out, they are always busy. They now have fresh churros and delicious...

Been going here for 19 years and back in the day this was the best place around but over the last 5 years they’ve been declining in taste and quantity extremely fast. I made a complaint to the manager or owner about how small the servings have gotten and the prices keep going up and she advised me to order my burritos and tacos with extra meat/beans. Well today my family decided we wanted to give this place one last chance and we ordered them the way we were told and over the phone the woman who took our order laughed when I asked for extra beans/meat and when I payed for my order she laughed in my face. The little burrito you see in the picture cost me $4. The wrapped tacos have no beans at all. Taco Bell taste nearly the same at this point and the portions are the same while they cost half as much. They’ve lost a customer of 19 years.

Super fast service, good prices, and really good food. They accommodated a big group real easily, I just gave them a quick phone call before we left. great place to stop for a quick lunch in between things. I would recommend the sirloin burritos. There wasn’t anything else other than meat and cheese in the burrito, but it still was really good. Just wasn’t what I was expecting.
