The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful. My business relies on taking great pictures of our products that we sell on line. Our main camera that we have been using for years stopped working. That camera is the life line of our business. I brought it in to T&F the identified that it was the lens and not the camera. Being that I needed a new lens I took the opportunity to tell them what I didn't like about the lens I had been using. They listened and recommended the proper lens for the type of pictures I need to shoot. I am in the guitar business, not the photography business. I just need to take great pictures. Their expertise, advise, and service they offered was not something I could have found on line. I say that as someone who sells products primarily on line. I wasn't even concerned about shopping for a better price, not that their prices were off the mark. They weren't. I didn't care. The service I received made all the difference. I thought this broken camera was going to be a major headache for me that was going to set me back a few days and dollars. They made it so wasn't the case. I was in and out of their store in 20 minutes, back in business, and with a better lens. You can't get this kind of service on line. That is why we need brick and...
Read moreMy family and I stopped bye just to drop off some film (from our son) and inquire about taking some lessons together. The next thing you know we were signed up for the Triple R workshop led by Rick Ferro and Rick Friedman, with Carin Somers and Robert Vanelli. So what do you do when you are really only at the beginning of your photography journey and haven't even bought a camera yet? Obviously you wind up modeling some tuxes and wedding dresses with your wife for the more advanced photographers there. Oh wait, one of the participants is an actual minister? Well why not renew your vows for real and get some pictures by Rick Ferro and Rick Friedman while you're at it.
Only T&F camera led by owner Bart Feldman could make this story possible. If the object of photography is to capture the essence of a moment and preserve it for generations,no store or group of people exemplifies it better than the crew at T&F camera. They will grow your photography skills, supply you with the best knowledge and equipment you could need or want, and maybe even create some memories themselves.
TL;DR - Rick and Rick took my picture, I got remarried, made a ton of new friends and skills but I still haven't dropped...
Read moreI recently took a 5 week wedding bootcamp photography workshop with Bart at TF Camera. Not only did I meet new photography peers and network, I also gained a lot more skills. The class was composed of valuable information such as pricing, wedding timelines, poses, editing, and a mock wedding (5hrs long) to put into practice what we learned. I was scared to use a high ISO for a long time, and while the class is not geared to persuade a student to buy gear, I went ahead and bought a flash for my camera. I was really scared to start using flash and reviewed one YouTube video before using flash during the mock wedding. I had trouble with it at first but after a couple questions to Bart, I was ready to use the flash. I love natural light but flash adds that extra sparkle to a photograph....
