I have been on a brunch kick!!! This time, Krumbs Cafe in Vineland, NJ. Let I say, this place is small, but cozy. I was a but disappointed in my visit, but I advise you all to try it for yourselves. Let me know if you have ever been there and what was your favorite thing on the menu!

We were in the area and decided to find a good place to eat. Krumbs Cafe looked interesting. There is ample parking in the front and on the side of the restaurant. We were welcomed as we entered the restaurant. Charlie, one of the cooks, was especially friendly and helpful. Bri, our waitress, was patient with us as we read through the menu and tried to make our minds up on what to have. We each decided to order the breakfast special which included two eggs, choice of meat, home fries and choice of toast. I did an upgrade on my home fries for $1.00 and had tater tots. After I saw the home fries, next time I will enjoy them instead of upgrading. Both were good. My dining companion added green peppers and onions to her home fries for $1.50. The eggs were cooked as we ordered them — fried hard and scrambled. The pork bacon we ordered was cooked perfectly. We each had 3 pieces of bacon on our plates. The home fries and tater tots were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the toast was buttered, toasted just right and we each received two slices. Charlie came over to make sure our meals were delicious and to take a moment to chat with us. He was very personable and congenial. The restaurant and the ladies room were both clean. Plenty of napkins were in the napkin holder on our table. Silverware was delivered to us in an individual paper bag and the silverware inside was clean and sturdy. There are plenty of tables to choose from. People were all happily chatting at their tables while enjoying their meals. Even so, the restaurant was not noisy and you could easily converse at your table. As we were leaving Charlie and the other cook as well as our waitress, Bri, all said goodbye to us and all said they hoped to see us again.

Very excited to try this place. A lot of other reviews are saying what I'm going to say but the service was awful! Getting in the door was challenging because it's very hard to open. When we did finally get inside, no one greeted us. I asked the cashier do we just pick our own table? Got a shrug so I sat myself down. Waited for several minutes and then another table filled up behind us and then we were waited on. Our server was not warm and fuzzy at all. When ordering our iced coffee she told us to pick a second flavor because they might be out of what we wanted which they were, they didn't have the white mocha and the salted caramel drink was caramel and cinnamon, no salt. How can you offer 15 different flavors of iced coffee but then say make a second choice just in case we're out or not even make the right drink? It was a Tuesday they were closed the day before, was restocking not an option? When placing our food order our server didn't tell us about the special (only knew because we overheard another server telling other tables about the special) our server was like what do you want to eat? We made it pretty simple and ordered two of the same thing. We never saw our server after that. Another server that was telling the others about the special helped out by giving us extra water and bringing our food to our table. Our server didn't even drop off the receipt to our table. The food was alright. We ordered two of the Bellas, nothing really special about it besides egg cheese and bacon being between two donuts... The home fries were very good. If you're coming from another city or even from Pennsylvania / Delaware don't bother it's not worth the gas money. will not be stopping by again. I'm shocked that they're still around with service like that. Still can't believe we weren't even offered a refill for our coffee... Very...

If no stars was an option, that's what I would've given Krumbs. We were so excited to try this place because of how packed they were on the weekends, but after eating here I don't even know why they are so packed. When we first arrived, no one even spoke to us, but than we were told to sit ourselves. Our waitress didn't speak and had such an attitude like it was an inconvenience for her that we were there. We kept it simple & ordered 2 orange juices for our drinks. The orange juice was gross & had ice in it, who the hell puts ice in orange juice? We both got eggs (one Sunnyside up, one with cheese) home fries (one with onions, one without) meat (one sausage & one scrapple) and toast. While we were waiting for our food, I watched our waitress sneeze all over the coffee bar and was opening products with her mouth. Not once did she wash her hands. Its really hard to mess up such a simple breakfast, but somehow they did. I couldn't tell that there was cheese on my eggs, nor could I even tell by looking at them, and instead of home fries, to our surprise we got tater tots. Don't get me wrong, we love tater tots but if you ran out of home fries, a little heads up that we'd receive tater tots would've been nice. Instead, my boyfriend received tater tots covered in onions. We never saw our waitress after she took our order, a different waitress brought us our food, and settled our bill. Apparently our waiteress is the owners daughter, so we know nothing will be done about the terrible service. Definitely had high hopes and was disappointed. Will never return to this establishment and will advise others to...
