Pros: Clean and organized pretty well. They have a great selection of Citadel and Warpaint. Ok stock of Warhammer along with D&D kits. They have an open area of tables for playing board games etc and a small table just for eating. They seem to hold events occasionally. Good location next to places to eat at. Staff was professional and friendly. Nice they offer %20 off next door for some Mexican.
Cons: Could have more selections for Star wars legion figures. In fairness , they did offer to order what I need if I wanted. I would like more variety of Warhammer smaller figures and kits. Their card machine didn't work while there , so I did have to use what cash I had. The manager was nice enough to help with the cost a little due to the issue. Prices are little high , but my not too far off online prices. You do have to compete with people trying to sell their stuff instead of buying.
All and all I would suggest going here. A new business only 1 year in an they could use the support. The guy there seemed genuinely nice and cares about his business and the experience. They are still going through some growing pains , but I have high hopes for them. I would come back for sure. If you're looking for a local card game / table top place , this is the place to go.
Side note: thank you to the manager who responded so quickly. That's also a good sign of ownership. I appreciate it and will definitely take you up on your offer if there is anything needed. Good luck with...
Read moreI've been to a few stores in South Jersey and this one genuinely has one of the most welcoming atmospheres I've experienced. The owners treat you as if they've been talking to you for years and it's a pretty lively aura around the store. I got my preorder from here and seeing a place not upcharge me into oblivion and respect the product's REAL price is a breath of fresh air and should be lauded on its own, but to also encourage you to come back out during certain days to participate in weekly events shows a professional mindset that has a real respect for the product they are selling.
Support this shop. It's a shop ran by people who love what they do and clearly are knowledgeable. I wish I could give a sixth star for keeping product specifically locked off so that kids can have their chance to find things in the hobby. So if you have a kid, and you can't find product, this is an excellent...
Read moreOh boy where do I begin? Stopped at this hole in the wall card store at the recommendation of a friend in the Cumberland area. This place is just not it. The store had little to no product available (a few older sets, a hodgepodge of singles, and your generic run of the mill accessories.) After standing at the front counter the owner? (A short guy with a beard) continued to ignore me and my girlfriend who were interested in a couple Pokémon booster packs. After every attempt to get his attention, he continued to ignore us in favor of a customer who was waiting behind us in line (a close friend of his perhaps?). This is very rude and unprofessional when considering we were interested in buying from his store. I normally like to support small businesses but in this specific case, just buy online from another retailer. Your business is not going to be...
