Lowe's Distribution Center — Local services in Vonore

For the people who do not know, no they do not unload in the order you come in but by your appointment time. If you get there at 6 a.m and your appointment time isn't till 10:00am and other truckers come in after you with appointments earlier then you, they will be unloaded first. Also if you are not untarped or unstraped (unles you cant unstrap untill your in the unload spot)by your appointment time you are considered not ready and late, Witch means they can go to there next truck and get them done early and will get to you when they can. Also they're are 10 specific people who do loading and loading only so they can load nonstop and fill there 60-70 trucks a day quta, then there are 3 specific people who unload only, 2 of them unload mostly out side product and 1 unloads mostly inside product if they are running a little late it's probably because there getting backed up and behind be kind and patient they want you unloaded and out of there just as much as you do but...

First guy rolled up to me and complained that I was parked in the drop lot and the receiving lot was a few spaces over. Literally like two spaces over. I parked there to throw straps and not hit anyone else. Look beyond your nose , bro. Got empty , swung over to the correct lot so I can use the bathroom. Had 3 minutes before my clock to rolled over , guy came back and said once I’m empty I have to leave the lot. Thanks man I have seen a bathroom in 24 hours...

Arrived at 8pm for my 9am appointment the next day. The lady in the office was very nice and helpful. Was told they start unloading trucks at 7am and that I may be unloaded before my appointment time. Sure enough, just after 7 I was being pulled around to get unloaded. Even in the rain, the forklift operator was friendly and had me offloaded in less than 15 minutes.

Edit: Meant to add that they also have overnight parking...
