My husband and I purchased a new mattress from this location approximately 2-3 months ago. It was a brand name, Beauty Rest and although not the most expensive model, was definitely higher end. We purchased the warranty as well as mandatory mattress cover to ensure the warranty would be valid per the manager. About 5 weeks ago, we noticed a large depression/slope on my husband's side of the mattress (he is not a heavy individual approx 170lb). It became so noticable that I felt myself rolling onto his half if I was laying in the middle of the bed. We called the store regarding our warranty and they told us that we would have to make an appointment for someone to come to our home to do an evaluation of the mattress. We had to wait over 3 weeks for an appointment and took off of work to be available during the appointment time given on a Thursday from 1-2pm. No one showed up during this time so we called the store at 2:10 asking what had happened. We were informed that the scheduling system had a "glitch" and there was no further excuse. We asked if they could be notified to come out and we're told they were done for the day (at 2:15pm....) and were told we had to reschedule. The soonest appointment we could get was another 3 weeks away which was unacceptable. After 3 phone calls we were able to get someone to come out that Saturday. A gentleman came to our home with a metal rod with a central "dip stick" for lack of a better description. He pulled the bedding back on the side of the bed that was the "problem area" and pushed down on the mattress with his hands and left. My husband at work at the time and received a call that nothing was wrong with our mattress and met the manufacturer's standards. When we questioned why the other side of the bed was not evaluated and compared with a consistent amount of pressure (let's say a standardized weight...not just arbitrary pushing) we were told a manager would call us Monday. Monday of course came and went without a phone call. We called again today around 9:30 in the AM and were told the manager was "busy" and we would receive a call by 3pm, which never came. We are still trying to get ahold of a manager to have someone else look at it, which in plain sight you can see the drastic decline of the mattress. It appears obvious that the warranty is worthless and the store is not standing behind either their product or warranty. The store is obviously hiding behind a farce on an evaluation to say that there is nothing wrong with this brand new mattress. Lastly, the fact that no one in management is willing to speak to us tells you everything about the store and your risks if you are thinking about making any purchases from this organization. I rarely if ever write bad reviews about any business, I just hope it may help others think twice about making any purchases here and avoid not only the stress, but the financial loss we are likely facing.
*Update-- after writing the above review we were contacted by R&F asking how they could "make it right". We worked with the manager Michelle who was nice. We were able to come in, choose a new mattress and received a "credit" for the cost of the old mattress. They did however repeatedly state that we were changing our mattress due to "comfort" and refused to acknowledge the faulty product. We were also charged a fee to exchange the mattress as well as an additional $100 delivery fee. Overall I'm grateful for the more expedited resolution, however disappointed that it took a negative review to be taken seriously and that they refused to take responsibility or acknowledge their...
Ā Ā Ā Read more4 months and still my furniture won't be delivered! Do not buy anything from them unless you can wait months and have hours of time to deal with the worst customer service in the business. This nightmare is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had anywhere regardless of industry. I ordered furniture in MARCH and was told it would be ready in May when I move into my new place. The week before I'm supposed to get my stuff delivered I'm told half my stuff will no longer be produced. They waited until a week before I was supposed to receive my furniture to tell me this. Then they tell me the other furniture in my order might not be available until June and even that can't be guaranteed. I need furniture so I change my order with the representative who contacted me and she tells me the estimated times are accurate and it should be delivered the first week of June. June is here and now they say it might not be ready until July! They also can't guarantee some of the stuff will even be delivered and again might be discontinued. At this point I tell them this is ridiculous and I want a refund and they say its special order so they can't give me a full refund! They basically are holding my money hostage and I ordered over $9000 worth of stuff! The worst part is nobody wants to help you! A representative emailed me after my sale named David and said contact him if I have issues and when I did he said he couldn't help me. The representative, Danielle, who called me to change my order sent me an email thanking me for my business but when I had issues wouldn't help me. Corporate offices and the main customer service line won't help and make you hold on the phone for hours just to talk to them. They for weeks they were saying they can't look up the status of my delivery and I have to wait for somebody to call me. Then they have a customer service email that is just for cosmetic purposes to make them look like they care, but in reality doesn't even respond. Avoid giving this company your business because once they get your money they stop caring.
*The RFcare email doesn't respond or address your issues. Its just used to make them seem like they are. I emailed them 3 times and nobody addressed anything. By far the worst customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStore is beautiful as well as the furniture but the extremely pushy sales lady is the only reason we are not going through with our purchase. From the moment we walked in and was greeted by Lucia, we stated we ONLY wanted to look and have no idea what we wanted yet so just want to look and aren't buying yet. We literally sat on the first couch and she sat next to us trying to sell us on it. We said we just wanted to look and she followed us to EVERY SINGLE couch. When we did see something we actually really liked she instantly wanted to ring us up. I said can we have time alone to discuss and she gave us about 1 min before coming back to get ready to ask our information. I said we just don't want to jump right in and she caught a little attitude like WE wasted HER time by saying "oh, so you don't plan on buying today!" I replied and said well we said we were ONLY looking! We did decide to leave a $50 deposit just so we can get locked into the Presidents day sale prices. I went home and we thought about it for 2 days. The whole time I could only think about how pushy she was and it turned us off of wanting the furniture at all. When I called to cancel my deposit she continued to push. She said you didn't even think about it. I said we did...for 2 days and we don't want it. She continued to press me on why, and that's when I caught attitude and said JUST STOP...WE THOUGHT ABOUT IT AND DONT WANT IT SO STOP ASKING. WE DIDNT GO IN WITH INTENTIONS ON BUYING BUT YOU JUST KEPT ON PUSHING. Someone needs to tell her to let her presence be known with customers but then back off! She is the reason we aren't buying from...
