At drive-thru, in my order I explicitly requested a Whopper made fresh off the broiler (so fresh and moist). Car in front of me took forever (had to be 5-10 mins) to get their food and their exhaust fumes were awful the whole time. IMO they should have been pulled out of the queue to the side to wait for their food, but they weren't. Nothing I could do except close my windows and put a/c on recirculate. It really didn't work.
When I finally got to the pick-up window to pick up my food, it was ready. I specifically asked for a receipt, so I could do a BK Survey and was told "it's in the bag". Took delivery of my food and left the premises. Quickly found a parking spot away from there to park and eat my sandwich. The Whopper was warm but the meat was dried-out... BAD! I checked the bag and NO RECEIPT. Surprise, surprise!
BK's advertising slogan used to be ".. have it your way". Looks like it 'was' and not 'is'. For me, on this visit, it was a waste of my money. I really don't understand the whole experience with this particular BK. Nothing like this ever happened to me at this BK on prior visits. Maybe because it was after 8:00PM? Maybe they were short on help? I don't know but I can assure them that they don't have to worry about me visiting that BK for a long time.. if they're still around...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely eat at fast food chains, but Burger King is my preferred fast food chain burger, the char flavoring nudges it just past the competitors.
I normally get 2 regular small hamburgers because I enjoy the ratio of meat to bun and condiments, especially the intensity of the pickle slices relative to the meat. This time on a whim I opted for the $1 bacon cheese burger. The balance of bacon to burger is just right, and the melted cheese adds a mellow creamy textural compliment. It's VERY tasty!
The frenchfries have improved over the years--over the decades, actually--so now they're a satisfactory second place to the irresistible fries š from that planet dominating, competition crushing chain with the Celtic name.
The chicken nuggets are surprisingly satisfying, both the well seasoned flavor and crispy crunchy breaded coating exceeding my expectations. I didn't even use the honey mustard sauce, they were great au naturale.
I had my own water, as usual, and didn't have a desert, so it's a relatively healthy, lower calorie occassional treat. A very flavorful, enjoyable late night meal that's absurdly affordable at less...

I have never complained about service Iāve had at a fast food restaurant drive-through or anywhere, EVER but the woman at the drive-through window at Burger King on route 73 in Voorhees, NJ was the rudest person Iāve ever come across in the food service industry!! You could tell by the way she said, can I help you that she was not the most pleasant person but when we got to the window she barely looked my way, handed us part of our food and closed the window without saying one word. She open the window a minute or two later, and handed us the rest of our food. We noticed my grandsons sauce was not in the bag with his chicken nuggets so we asked her if we could please have some ranch for the nuggets. She gave us a DIRTY LOOK, like we had done something wrong turn around, grabbed two packets of ranch, rolled her eyes and shut the window!!! I tried to call immediately to complain, but no one answered. I will continue to call until I get in touch with someone because thatās how angry if she actually made me!!! Friday...
