Buy Beware. I have the lengthiest complaint but honestly, what’s the point of sharing it. It won’t get me anywhere with this lemon of an RV. The short story…. We were totally SOLD at an RV show in Michigan. We bought the dreamiest fifth wheel….and, we couldn’t wait. During delivery…. We were appalled with the workmanship and issues we found, and no, I don’t think we were being overly nit-picky. Not to mention, lied to about the actual design of the cabinet doors. Warranty items still just sitting waiting for approvals or repairs, who knows when those will be completed, if at all (our dealer has low confidence that they will be repaired)…. There’s a laundry list of them. And, now, every time we spend time in this fifth wheel, we find more and more poorly built components and insane missteps on the build process. Never again…. and, we share this story with anyone who walks by and says ā€œwow, beautiful fifth wheelā€. Primetime Crusader 275RDD - it’s pretty, from a distance… a LONG distance. Our favorite flaw was the heating unit: Installed to where the entire unit would catch fire (no I’m not exaggerating)…. Or, that every door and drawer is hung crooked (even the glass inserts are crooked, it’s like a fun house in here)…. Or, that some windows don’t open or close…. Or, that the door doesn’t stay open with even a gentle breeze…. Or, the sinks ALL leaked…. Or, the batteries installed improperly… Or, (the one that just happened) the nails just laying in our air conditioning vents…. I could go on and on. And, no, we haven’t towed it a bunch to have ā€œnormal things wiggle looseā€. Sadly, it has been a bit of an arm wrestle because, you know, RV’s have ā€œpersonalityā€. šŸ˜‘šŸ™„ Learn from us: don’t buy one. (The photo attached is the heating unit under the kitchen sink… missing panels and incorrect non-code install for the ducting… you wouldn’t believe how hot the sink and counter top was after testing it for 30 minutes… absolutely dangerous.)

*Beware Of Prime Time Manufacturing Travel Trailers Check your RV for Powder Post Beetles* We purchased a new 2019 Tracer 260KS from General RV Tampa and two weeks into our ownership found our Travel Trailer infested with Powder Post Beetle's. These bugs cannot be removed and will cause major damage to the already cheap wood that these Travel Trailers are made of. We were told by the service department to bring in our RV and take pictures to submit a claim to Prime Time Manufacturing. They said this had been an issue with other RV's on their lot, so we thought we might have some resolution, but Prime Time rejected the claim along with General RV and failed to get back with me on what they are willing to do. Once your RV is infected with these Powder Post Beetles you cannot sell or trade your RV or have them exterminated, they will keep coming back. So we have a new RV with dust piles from a Powder Post Beetle bug infestation we didn't create and It's growing thought our ceiling, Kitchen and both slide-outs and other areas. My wife and I live full-time in our RV and had many plans to travel the US but due to the dust, holes and damage they make we have chosen to park it until it's resolved. Attached are some pictures of the damage and the warning signs if you may have Powder Post Beetle infestation. FYI. These RV's material are made in China and the bugs are shipped over from China in the wood, but proper inspection of the material and fumigating the containers properly would have solved this issue once it landed in the USA.

We needed to replace a part that my husband damaged, so I called Prime Time RV in Wakarusa. I spoke with Larry the service advisor and he ordered our parts. Then he referred me to Jason the service manager, who set up an appointment for us. when we got there, we checked in with Lisa Jasonā€˜s assistant. We also had a couple questions about our unit and she mentioned that Rich was their go to guy and could answer anything with his vast experience. From the minute we walked in until we left everything was more than I expected. My husband asked Rich a couple questions about our unit and Rich showed him how to do that plus actually did the work free of charge himself to show him. The guys that replaced our part were also extremely efficient. You would think we were the only customers Prime Time has the way we were treated and in my opinion that’s how customer service should be. We needed a decal, but because our Crusader is a 2017 they were no longer in stock. Lisa called on the part on Monday, ordered it and Saturday, UPS delivered it to our house. I can’t say enough about the service at Prime Time and in the future if I need any service work done on our unit that will be where I’m taking it. Also in the future if I purchase another new RV, I will not ever hesitate on buying another Prime Time product . Thank you again Larry, Jason, Lisa, Rich, and the crew for your exceptional service and making this experience a very pleasant and smooth one!

I give 5 stars to Larry Ulrich with Forest River! I give 1 star to Unlimited RV and to Prime Time. Here's why...

Unlimited RV sold us a brand new Prime Time Avenger last year. The one we picked up to two days after we bought it was not the one they sold us. We have had nothing but problems with the one they sent us home with. I had to ask for the warranty paperwork from Unlimited RV. A clerk at Unlimited RV sent the wrong VIN to the department of revenue creating a whole new set of issues that we had to deal with. The camper they gave us had a warped outside shower door, molding at the entry door that was not fixed to the wall and was hanging off of the aluminum door frame, and the grey water tank sensor did not work properly. We have camped in it 3 times. On our third camping trip last week, the electrical outlet came completely out of the wall when I removed my phone charger from it. Also, we discovered that you cannot lock the camper from the inside. The deadbolt does not line up with the slot on the door frame.

It took 3 phone calls to reach the service department at Unlimited RV to get an appointment to fix the latest issues (our warranty was not expired when I made my calls). When the serviceman finally called me back he said our warranty was expired and the earliest appointment for service was 3 months away. He insinuated that there was a possibility that after we brought it in for repair, that it might have to sit on their lot for another 4 months (because that's how long other campers were already sitting there ahead of ours) before they could fix the hanging outlet and the deadbolt issue. In other words, we were potentially looking at a 7-month wait time before we could use a 'new' camper that is in safe working condition.

As soon as we got home from our trip, I called Forest River. Thankfully, Larry Ulrich, Prime Time Retail Advisor, came to our rescue. He immediately gave us a list of authorized dealers that can service our camper and assured us that the repairs needed are covered under the warranty. Thanks to Larry and a helpful staff at another dealer, the camper is going in for repair in two weeks.

I wish that the folks that build these campers, sell these campers, handle the paperwork on these campers, and service these campers were as honest, skilled, knowledgeable, and trustworthy in doing their job as I have found Larry...

We recently had the opportunity to use the services of Prime Time Service Center. I had been corresponding with Jason Treadway since last fall. I was able to send him photos of the damage to our unit and he promptly sent us a repair estimate for the damage. We made and appointment for us to bring the unit to their facility this spring. Jason said he would contact me about 2 months prior to the appointment.

Sure enough, 2 months out, Jason called and after some discussion we were able to move the repair appointment up a few weeks.

In April, we dropped the trailer off on a Monday morning and planned on spending the week in the area while the work was being done with the anticipation the repairs would be completed by Friday of that week.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Rich Yoder who got us settled in with Lisa Cook who completed the necessary paperwork. Soon after we met Jason, and also Lisa's father. We can't say enough how pleasurable it was dealing with these four individuals. We spent a fair amount of time visiting with them.

I called Lisa Thursday morning to check on the status of the repair process and she was just getting ready to call us to advise they had completed the repairs late Wednesday and it was ready to go.

We stopped by on Thursday to inspect the repairs and complete the paperwork. We were also introduced to the gentleman who did the sublet fiberglass work. My career of 37 years was in the insurance claims business, so I know a little bit about these repairs. The fiberglass and paint work was flawless.

Friday morning we picked the unit up and again visited with our new found friends. Phone calls were returned, e-mails were responded to and answered. Lisa was great in getting all the paperwork completed and just being the face of Prime Time. We enjoyed Rich and his knowledge of the brand. He was kind enough to ask and install a safety chain holder on the unit for us. It felt as though we had know all these folks...
