Our group of 7 golfers and one rider reserved two tee times here shortly after 10 am today. We played a scramble to keep with the surrounding pace of play, which was 2 hours and 13 minutes for 9 holes on a busy Saturday morning. Power carts were a mix of electric and gas.
The greens featured challenging pin locations today with difficult breaks to read. The tee boxes and fairways were in okay condition with several fairways featuring wavy bumps. This course has narrower fairways that are tree lined, which requires better accuracy instead of strength off the tee. Each tee featured four tee offs. The per golfer cost for 9 holes, including 1/2 power cart, was $33.
The club house is basic, with a smaller assortment of equipment and apparel...

Once they reached the green, the mother let all three children putt the ball. We skipped past them. Later on, we caught up to a group of six younger men. We played behind them for 3 holes, catching up to them on every tee box. They never offered for us to move ahead of them. So, we slipped that hole, too. All in all, we missed 3 holes out of 18. We paid for 18 holes. We told the young lady in the club house. She really didn't know what to do about it. I'm not sure I would want to go...

But worse, there are many bad areas in the fairways, especially on holes 1-5 and 13-14. Irrigation is uneven, leaving wet spots even during a very dry period. The course gave us a great rate, so that was appreciated. But, I would rather pay a little more and have them put the money into fixing some of these holes. Very friendly staff.
Nice course for the price. ...
