Harps Food Stores — Local services in Waldron

I am on a limited income, no food stamps, but they have meat specials (usually pick 5 pkgs for 25.00 and fresh veggie specials 5 pkgs for 9.00) and it helps. Since our walmart closed their prices have gone up, but you can find bargains. They also have a deli where you can get hot items, fried catfish, fried chicken and sides, as well as salads and some storemade sandwiches. If you are in a hurry don't go on SS payday (3rd. of the month and the third Wednesday). Its the only grocery in town and its packed. They have motorized carts for the handicapped, and if you cant find something they are more than willing to help....

This is very dissappoiting , I have been a loyal customer of this place for it is our only grocery store. In the past few months I have had a addiction to the apple fritters that the bakery serve daily. There have been a few times that I have had to pass because of the Flies in the doughnut display box. I have even let the ladies in the bakery aware of the problem and it seems as though it is not a concern for them to maybe fix the problem. All I'm saying is that I know I am not the only one who has seen this. I'm asking this store to change your display box, I love your apple...

I only shop at Harps when I run out of something due to how expensive they are on groceries. I'm not sure if it's the pandemic that is causing shortages on items, but the last few times I have shopped they haven't had what I needed and there have been many,many empty holes. I haven't found the staff to be very friendly, however the manager has tried to help me locate items that I couldn't find, which was out of stock. I am thankful that Waldron does at least have a...
