Love this course. There are a few spots that hold water, NBD. 1 water hazard hole with a shallow pond, and a mix of both BH and FH shots. Once the trees grow up, they will provide more difficulty. Most holes are birdyable for a novice. Par 3s with (1) par 4 stretching down the middle of the course. Most fairways are very narrow, making it easy to throw OB into another holes fairway.
Tees are concrete pads, but lack proper hole signs. Currently they are using 4x4s angled at the top with the hole number and distance carved into plastic. We can do better than this.
Pins are nice but could use flags or colored tops for spotting. DiscU and DGCR have good maps for this course, disc u having alternate playthroughs.

Also maybe it's just me but on the second half, past hole 7 or 8 maybe, there is a WRANK smell. Between this and the construction, I've all but stopped going here. A shame really because it's so close to my place! Used to be my home course, wish they'd do something about that damn stench rather than tear out the forrest that used...
Read moreThis is an 18 hole course in a city park. The course is relatively flat with concrete Tee pads and small metal signs. The fairways vary from around 210 to ~600 feet. The metal baskets are old style and not painted. The course begins to the front - right of the small shelter. There is a decent amount of trees for shade and obstacles. There is a small lake near the center. Mostly short grass , hard to lose a disc. Overall 4.5...
