Southridge Farm & Nursery — Local services in Walpole

Stay away from this company. I ordered soil and asked them to deliver to my backyard. Turns out they came with a huge truck and destroyed my patio. I reached out many times to their customer service and they are refusing to compensate with anything.

Did I even like their soil? There are broken pieces of glasses mixed in to their soil. Not something I was expecting to see in garden soil that I'm going to grow things with my kid. Can't reply directly to the response, so I'm adding a comment here. You can't say you have approval and don't have any responsibility just because your driver think he communicated with my non-english speaker father. My father was there to direct the position the soil should be unloaded, not there to approve any action that would damage the property.

I started using the soil this weekend which is after you refused any further communication. Would your action change if I question the quality of your product? I don't think so. I don't believe in your customer service. Why are you 'confused' that I didn't mentioned about the quality? Even if I knew the issue on the quality when we were talking, that's a separate issue and not discussing that with you has nothing to do with our conversation on the damage you made on my patio which will cost $1500 for repair. We purchased a half cord of kiln dried wood for the first time from Southridge Farm and Nursery this fall. Their prices are some of the best in the area, scheduling delivery and purchasing was incredibly easy, and best of all the wood is excellent quality and bone dry. We had a really frustrating experience paying full price for what turned out to be wet wood last year with a different vendor and I was very happy to find Southridge. I keep meaning to write a review because this place deserves one - or better yet, EVE deserves one. Eve is one of the workers at Southridge. I don't go often, but every time I do (I recently bought a tree - and went back for some plants), Eve is SO helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, professional (etc ...) I'm really just blown away by her. She is the epitome of what good customer service should be. Not sure who the owners are, but this customer thinks you should hold on to Eve - she is EXCELLENT. She probably deserves a raise, too.
