I drove an hour and 45 minutes to come to her shop after seeing a TV stand or a stand on marketplace. I asked the owner was it still available? And of course she said yes but then I stated OK great Iāll come and look at it and purchase it. She replied yeah everybody says that. I didnāt think anything of the rude comment because text message and written messages can be interpreted it any way. However, the young lady at the desk with the purple and pink hair Was rude as hell. As soon as I walked in and instead of saying, hi, thanks for coming in and supporting our small business. She said we close in 15 minutes, I replied I understand that Iāve just driven almost 2 hours to come look at this article that I showed her on my phone I said is it still here? She was so bothered by me being here. She said if it is, itās downstairs never been in this establishment before so I go to walk around some bulky bookcases and she said no youāre going the wrong way. Itās down the stairs as if I was supposed to know. I understand people being exhausted ready to close shop ready to go however, I too am a small business owner and Customer Service is our business and if you have terrible customer service, you have no business having a business or being in business. This is a sure way to close a business down
When I got there, the article was marked $75 but online was priced at 60. Iāve paid the 60 after that lady told me where to park my car in the rears. She did help me pull it out to my car. He did not help me load it, but that was OK. Upon leaving, I said well you have a good day. Iām sorry to bother you. You must enjoy the silence huh and she said yes and shut and lock the door. 10 minutes left before closing. She was in her car leaving. Amazing Customer Service I can tell you I didnāt have a good experience, which is sad.
Oh lastly I did follow up with the owner on marketplace to let her know I did drive out to her shop and purchase the article that not everyone in this world just says things...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going to this shop for years and bringing my girlfriends. We never ever walk out empty-handed. Everyone is always so nice and polite and willing to help . However today was different. If something is on a $3 rack and is marked sale that is what it should be. I was going to purchase two pairs of jeans off of the $3 rack. I had two pairs of shorts and a pair of boots that cost $14 also. There was an issue with the $3 jeans and the girl at the register wouldn't ring them up. I explained to the cashier that I got both pairs off of the $3 rack. The one pair was even marked sale . The girl at the cash register made me wait for a good 5 to 10 minutes for the owner to come to the register. It was very clear the owner was very busy checking in new Consignments. She came up and jacked the $3 jeans up to $8 and the second pair to $15. I was so offended by the way I was treated that I left my complete purchase at the checkout counter. I told her to just cancel the entire transaction . As I was leaving the cashier screamed across the store to have a nice day. It took everything I had not to go back and say something about her rudeness. Up until now I have absolutely loved the shop and everything that's the owner has done with it. As a former business owner I have nothing but respect for the owner and what a great job she's done. Her other associate was walking around the store, she was so kind and accommodating to help me try on my boots. Great customer service...Only to be shut down and overcharged when going to purchase my items. I hope the lady behind the counter has a wonderful day. I guess it's a new thing to treat people like crap and make up prices as you go along. I left empty-handed and I will...

Iāve been seeing posts about Clothes to Home on Facebook for a while and finally made the tripāand Iām so glad I did! This Main Street consignment shop is packed with a great selection of both home furnishings and clothing.
What really stood out to me was the large and thoughtfully curated selection of plus-size clothingāsomething you donāt often find in consignment shops. Prices are fair across the board, and there are plenty of bargains to be had.
The owner is incredibly friendly and engaged, clearly passionate about creating a welcoming, well-organized space for shoppers.
If you love hunting for treasures or just enjoy a good deal, Clothes to Home is well worth the visit. Pro tip: Swing by Bailey Janeās for a sweet treat before heading out of townāitās the perfect way to end your...
