Shout out to Pete and Dalton(camera guy)! This was the best experience ever. To start, the ladies who work at the front desk are friendly, responsive when you have questions, and have excellent customer service. This is the first establishment I’ve ever been to in my life where it seemed like everyone loves their job. My boyfriend and I booked this for my birthday in June but were unable to jump because of the weather. The ladies were very proactive in letting us know the likelihood of us jumping according to the weather. That’s something very important to keep note of. Just because you booked for a certain day DOES NOT mean you’ll jump that day. Even if the weather seems nice from down here. It might be too cloudy or windy in the sky. Nevertheless we rescheduled & watched a 10 min video in order to access the waiver forms. Upon arrival we checked in, paid the remaining balance in cash(bc of credit card fee) and sat to watch a bunch of people falling out of the sky. It honestly helped calm our nerves watching so many people go before us. Within no time we were called to a tent to gear up. No lie, it seemed like they somehow assessed our personalities and paired us with a tandem jumper that matched. Maybe that’s just in my head bc Pete was so friendly, reassuring, professional, and funny. My boyfriend’s jumper was kind of edgy, cool, didn’t talk too much but also asked if he wanted to flip out of the plane. Totally matched his vibe. My camera guy, Dalton was also amazing. I literally felt like the only person in the world with the way he was following me around with the camera. It wasn’t awkward though. He asked a lot of questions which I think helped with the mental part of it. I would say there was about 12 people jumping out of the plane we were on. My bf and his instructor went in first, me & Pete went in last. I thought this meant I was jumping last but I was highly mistaken. Once we were seated I realized the plane door was right next to me and I was jumping out first. The plane ride up is when I reeeeeally started to get nervous, but Pete/Dalton talked to me the whole time. We laughed a lot. At around 7000ft I started to feel in my stomach how high we were and Pete says “oh we’re almost 1/2 way up”. At that point I decided to not ask anymore questions and just lock in. Everything from that point happened so fast. I don’t even remember a count down. I just saw the plane door open and we were out. My bf said that once I jumped, everyone else was out the plane within 1 minute. No time for second guessing. I’ll be honest, everything they told me, besides keeping my legs back went out the window once I jumped. I couldn’t think. I couldn’t hear. I couldn’t breathe through my nose. There was soooo much wind. It was crazy! But once that parachute opened and we slowed down, it was soooo beautiful that I cried. We were falling for quite some time because me & my instructor are both small. We landed on our feet and just like that it was over. I’m writing this 3 days post jump and I’m still in disbelief that I did that. 10/10 highly recommend and I WILL...

For years, I promised myself that I would celebrate my 80th Birthday by jumping out of a plane. And as the fateful day approached, I knew there would be no turning back.

After researching all of the East Coast options, my daughter and I settled on Skydive Sussex and, in the final analysis, we hit the lottery!

It all began with signing up for the event. The reservation specialist was patient beyond all measure as we pummeled her with all of our rookie questions and fears. She answered each query with a reassuring knowledge and deftness that turned any hesitation into pure excitement and, from that moment on, we began counting down the days until we would be doing what seemed impossible when the dive was only a faint possibility.

When my daughter and I arrived at the Sussex Airport, we were greeted by two lovely women who continued to allay our anxieties. At one point, my daughter broke down in tears only to be reassured that she would not only survive the experience, it would quickly turn into a fond, unforgettable memory.

Backing up that promise began with meeting an affable older gentleman who also owned the enterprise and exuded every ounce of proficiency and assurance that one could hope for in the pilot flying the plane.

Then came my skydiving partner, Kenny—a young man with a luminous personality that lit up the twilight sky. Kenny’s palpable competence and confidence handily eradicated any possible cloud that might have otherwise dampened the experience. And his clear, step-by-step instructions--combined with his attention to the smallest detail--convinced me that I could not have asked for a better companion into my journey of the unknown.

According to my daughter, her experience with Blake, her skydiving partner, matched my experience with Kenny. Blake’s strong, take-charge demeanor was exactly what the doctor ordered to dispel my daughter’s escalating fears and desire to bolt and run. In the end, he was able to quell her fears and tailor-make her dive in a way that provided the most optimum encounter imaginable.

I not only recommend Skydive Sussex to anyone and everyone looking for the thrill of a lifetime, I implore everyone—no matter their age or situation in life--to sign up as soon as possible for a view and perspective of the world that no other adventure can provide.

I also implore everyone to never forget that you are never too old—or too...

The fact that this review is written should already provide comfort for most of you deciding on where to do your skydiving experience and let me assure you that this place is by far one of the best places I’ve been to and I’m so happy I did my first jump here!

I (along with three of my friends) had my first Tandam Skydive experience here and it was fantastic! The instructors were very smart, kind, and lovely! My personal instructor was Logan and I loved him! He was funny and made sure I had a great time. He was very chill and made this an incredible experience. I will definitely be coming back and hoping to jump with him again.

Additionally, I interacted with other instructors; Pat who was very fun and funny, and Kenny who helped my friend conquer his fear of heights with his first jump!

Furthermore, I would love to give a shout-out to Nick who was my videographer and who jumped out of a plane just so I could get a video of my experience. He was a great part of my experience as he too was there to make it as fun and stress free as possible.

Now, let me express the rest of the experience:

Sussex Skydiving has amazing workers and staff who help make your wait super fun. While it was cloudy in the morning, all the staff provided cool chairs, pool, balloons, and even a slip and side for everyone on the property! The team was very friendly and nice! They even give you a certificate for jumping - so thoughtful and a very nice surprise!

The skydive: The plane is super cool and I was lucky enough to be the first one out of it! My instructor (Logan) was calm and gave me such a peace of mind that I jumped with a smile and the feeling was unbelievable! Nick and Logan both tried to help me make cool hand moves and thumbs up during the flight and that was super nice. Once the parachute opens you get to glide through the skies and talk to your instructor and it’s just an incredible experience!

For anyone even slightly thinking about skydiving - you should do it and you should do it here!

(Would have added more pictures - but privacy)

Enjoy to all the new jumpers and thank you to the whole team who helped make our skydive an...
