New Airport Diner — Restaurant in Wantage

This is a great find. Although it looks old, the food and service are 5 star. This is a classic “old-school” diner with a counter with stools and booths. A few tables are available too.

The diner is situated on the airport and some of the tables have views of the planes taking off and landing. There are also skydiving as well. If you don’t get a table with a view, it’s only a short walk to the viewing area for the takeoffs and landings.

Free parking is available.

Came here and my server was Ray. He made some recommendations for food and he was SPOT on!! Ray was knowledgeable and friendly.

Food was fresh, hot, yummy and served with care. There are specials available too. We had the ravioli and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Both were delicious- no complaints. The quality and big portions were appreciated.

Excellent food with excellent service in a great local country atmosphere! The cheese steak was delicious! If your a Sunday city tourist with a city attitude please just keep driving south down Route 23! It was great to see some of the old employees still there along with some new faces added. The NEW OWNER did a great simple but good size diner type menu. Great job on the menu Eric and great job cooking it Nacho! It has everything you could want without overwhelming you with 10 pages of different food. Also don't forget to ask about the crepes, they are ALL amazing!! The only thing they need to change is to get some cheesecake in for Mountain Mike the same one's that Sit N Chat has. Lol!! I would stop there almost every day then! Cherry cheesecake is my favorite. Okay, so when I went here the first time, it was packed and even then our food arrived quickly and it was delicious. The service was great too. The second time I went here was for takeout, and I honestly thought it was closed when I got there. I was the only one there. Now, it was later in the day on a Sunday, so that might have been the reason, but I certainly hope it was just an off day, because this is a great little place to eat. Even though I was the only customer, the waitress was absolutely wonderful and friendly, and the food was as good as always.
