I travel a lot back and forth from NJ to PA visiting multiple grocery outlets. Supporting, spending thousands of dollars with the franchise to the point I even have a few great business relationships with multiple outlet store owners. But, this location on Father’s Day the owners were just mean & unethical. I was embarrassed & accused of stealing after spending $350. Walking to my car the owner runs me down outside, called me a thief & threatened to call the cops. I told him I paid for everything in my cart. He didn’t believe me, I calmly walked back into the store with him where he counted my goods compared to the receipt. The count was all good not one item was stolen. He didn’t even have to decency to apologize. I was refunded for the whole purchase and left. The franchise are selling goods for people to buy at great prices but the owners are somehow concerned about what customers are doing with the goods after they buy it. They make no sense! I will still continue to support grocery outlets, but not this location. They also pick and choose who can be tax exempt which is against the law. It’s not like that’s at ANY other location. What a joke! They need to go through a tutorial again on how to properly run a business &...
Read moreI usually have to go into the store late at night due to having to take my autistic son with me, since he doesnt do well with large crowds, ect. This store is SO AWESOME at having patience with us, never rushing us, and always very tolerant at some of his behaviors..where as any other store would NEVER be so kind, patient, and empathetic to my situation. Most of the staff have literally gone out of their way to allow my son to be himself, has given me encouragement that everything is fine, not to worry, and alot of actually acknowledging him personally that he feels comfortable with no anxiety and it eases my anxiety having to bring him with me..if you're a parent of a special needs child with behavioral issues, than you can relate and this is an exceptional place to shop with your child. On top of the wonderful staff, (Dawn, Kiera, Jeanine and I forget the owners daughters name, but she was FABULOUS!) THE store is clean, well stocked, and great variety of sales, and the prices are very affordable..one of the best grocery retailers around! Highly recommended! Great job to everyone! Love...
Read moreGood evening Google Family. I visited for the first time today. Honestly I really do not know why I did. Their items are seriously overpriced and downright unreasonable. My bananas were $2.07. I only bought them here because of the convenience. I had just left Dollar Tree which is located in the same shopping center and then I came here only to buy the produce and price their body wash. Their prices ranged from $4.99 to as much as $9.99. Not worth all of that. I paid for my overpriced bananas which I could have got cheaper at any other store and then I hi-tailed it to Walmart. I will never come here again. When I did shop the location in Sharon Hill, PA, I had to leave there and go to another supermarket since they did not have everything on my list. Grocery Outlet reminds me of Aldi, Save a Lot and Lidl. You shop there and then you still have to make a second trip to a real market, like Acme, Giant, or Shop Rite. Have a good night, Google Family, workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous!!!! The only bright spot about this place was the cashier, Kylie, who was very nice and friendly...
