Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Warminster Township

At first, the name didn't really draw me in. So, I haven't used the store a lot yet, but my family has started to go here with increasing frequency. My first few experiences have been all around positive. We found their pricing on suet for bird feeders to be much lower than most other places that carry it and the people on staff were pleasant. I am not sure of how they stock their stores. It's just a guess at this point, but I think this is comparble to other overstock sellers (like Ollies which has been in our area for a while) where they get overstock from various places. I could be wrong, though. All I know is they just seem to have a pretty wide variety of miscellaneous things. FALSE ADVERTISING & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Spent a half hour or more choosing around $30 of various items from the "free food" section for the crazy deals card.

When I checked out, over $20 worth of the items didn't register for the "free food" crazy card. The items were NOT misplaced. They were in the correct section and were just not entered into the system correctly.

I brought the manager to the section, and he acknowledged they were supposed to be part of the "free food" deal. The manager said he didn't have time to contact their customer service to correct the issue and had no way of generating a crazy card, and had no way of helping us out. I had to leave all the items at the register and walked out, most likely never returning.

What a waste...

I only stopped here because I was using the laundromat in the same strip mall and had 20 minutes to kill. I've gone past it many times but didn't think much about going in. Well, I'm glad I did. The store is kind of deceiving, it looks larger on the inside than out. They have EVERYTHING! From clothes to pool supplies, lawn and garden to makeup. I was most impressed by the section for wild birds. They have plenty of feeders and the food they eat. The wild bird food mix is not the best price I've seen but the black oil sunflower seeds are. There are large sections for pets, food, lawn furniture, pool toys, gardening, you name it.
