I'm basing this review solely on my takeout experience since dine in option wasn't available because of the CDC's pandemic mandate. My initial contact through the phone was cordial, the person who answered outright apologize because of them being limited staffed and the influx of phone in orders he couldn't spend as much time explaining some items at length with me over the phone. He was sincere and professional about it so I opted to check out the items through their website. I opted for the mild version of their Chicken Biryani and a serving of Naan bread; I was told it'll take them about 15 minutes; I got there a little before the promised time but when I introduced myself I was informed that my order was ready. I’m concerned that they have dialed back the flavors due to the clientele of the region. Or perhaps there was a new cook that day? Based on so many good reviews, I’m just confused as to why the entrees were flavorless.
I had to add my own curry spice to their food to make it tasty. I’d like to order from them again in the future, but am confused about this issue. Typically the “spicy level” indicates the amount of heat and not the absence of flavor.
I sent them a private email message regarding this issue. After weeks, they have...
