Mules National Golf Club — Local services in Warrensburg

Heard about this course from some golfers back in August. Back in Kansas City for football. About 55 minutes from Independence. Friendly staff, nice small pro shop. Large restaurant. Good driving range and putting green. Course for late October was in great shape. It was a bit cool temp wise but playable. Several risk/reward holes. Greens ran true and smooth. A bit fastc as well. Fairways well manicured. You have to stay in the fairway or you'll have problems with trees and thick rough. Would live to play this in warmer weather. Finishing hole, par 3 over large pond toward the clubhouse is one of the best finishing holes ever. Definitely recommend...

Staff was rude. My group had a voucher for a discounted 18-hole rate, but the guys in the pro shop were unhappy about it and showed no respect. I didn't think the course was great at all and the yardages from the cart were completely skewed. We measured our drives, and the carts said they only went 210 yards when all four of ours actually went 270-290. The layout of many holes was unfair and the hole locations were cheap. My playing partner and I both agree that this is a great course layout, and in wonderful condition. Drove down from KC just to check it out and remarked that we would definitely be members here if we lived in the area. The staff and Marshall Jake were attentive, friendly, and professional.
