I thought the food and the service were good. The staff was very attentive right from the moment we walked in. To get the full picture of what I thought, let's unpack.
I'm familiar with the one way road that leads to the restaurant. However, if you're unfamiliar with the road, you might find the dark winding road unnerving. We were greeted from across the room when we first walked in and were told to feel free to find a table so we did. But then, we sat there for the next 3 to 4 minutes wondering what needed to happen next. Lol When we finally had someone take our drink order, it took another couple of minutes to get the menus. We ordered the onion crisps, and it came out right away. I was hungry so that was great, but I just didn't expect it to be on the table shortly after we just ordered. The onion crisps were ok btw. Also, we had to ask for plates and utensils. I ordered a burger with steak fries. What I got wasn't really what I would call steak fries though. Ha! The burger was good...just a little burnt in one spot. The servers were very insistent on seeing if we needed anything taken away. At one point, my daughter's plate was taken while she was still eating. Lol
Overall, it was an interesting experience albeit unexpected at times. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for reading my review...
Read moreI would give this Zero stars if I could. We had a horrible experience with this restaurant. Our daughter and future son-in-law graduated from UCM in May and we planned the weekend well in advance. We called Traditions in December to set up a reservation for our party. We called again in February, and April, to confirm that reservation. We called again the morning of the graduation and confirmed the time (8:00) and number of guests. We arrived right at 8:00 and the young lady at the front told us that they didn’t have our reservation, that it was only on arrival seating, and that they had no tables available. When the manager came over he gave us an entirely different story, that they didn’t have a table available, we would have one as soon as one opened up, but we saw a table that had been seated right as we arrived. The problem was that every table was just ordering so it would be at least an hour before we would have been seated. We waited for awhile, then had to scramble to find a place to have dinner at 9:00 on a Friday night with 650 other graduates out dining also. Not a great way to run a business, and a horrible experience as we tried to celebrate the graduation of two...
Read moreThis used to be a great place to go in Warrensburg. Service has went down to ZERO, and the staff does not care, or seem to want to work. On a normal Friday evening we waited over 45 minutes to receive 1 of our 2 draft beers. Other tables would come in and get served immediately. We asked numerous times for our drinks. They finally brought one beer to our table and then overcharged us because the waitress failed to put our order in during happy hour. We were there 30 minutes before happy hour was over, and the waitress did not care. She even said she didn't get our orders in. She charged us full price, for the one draft beer we had to split between the two of us because they simply would not bring drinks to the table. This used to be a nice place to go on a Friday evening, but there are obvious problems with the staff. Management needs to look into the problems that they are having before people quit going...
