Jones Brothers Farm — Local services in Warsaw

We got a random post card in our mailbox a few years ago about a produce delivery option from Jones Farm and I was skeptical but said why the heck not. Not only was the produce top notch, the fact that I didn't have to worry about corn and tomatoes the entire summer really stocked my freezer. This year I opted into full summer plus garden extras and fruit, and let me tell you. I had the best watermelon OF. MY. LIFE. this summer from them. I just got my last box yesterday and while I am sad that the season is over, I will be bringing a farm fresh veggie salad to my Labor Day family party and spreading the word about where the delicious produce came from. We also look forward to the pumpkin deliveries because sweet baked seeds are my fave part of spooky season! I cannot recommend this place enough and in Google mapping their address, I can't believe that they deliver all the way up to me in Northern KY (a mile from downtown cincy). If you have the opportunity I would highly suggest buying into the produce program and I can't wait to see what I get...

Taylor dropped off my quarter share of beef today and it looks great. They switched processor this time around from Trackside to Stockyards and at a glance everything looks up to snuff. I requested that my steaks and roasts get trimmed minimally (I like fatty cuts) and they didn’t disappoint. The normally lean sirloins have a nice, thick fat cap. At my request they also threw in some complimentary sealed bags of extra fat scraps. I could make a huge batch of tallow with this, but I normally fry up supplementary fat scraps as needed to pair with the leaner cuts. We just discovered Jones brothers last year after a friend referrel and we loved all the veggies and fruit but particularly the tomatoes and the fruit for me.. my family loved those and the corn a great deal. we are moving unexpectedly and I had canceled my service but today a beautiful box of tomatoes showed up…. a very happy accident :) they are as good as they look!l and will be missed. My husband and I were talking about our services here and what we can get in Mason and for both of us our Jones delivery was the top of the lost of what we will both miss.
