Hey Turtle — Restaurant in Warsaw

I wrote a review while still in the restaurant and said the food was low quality and that they were typically understaffed. I was on a dinner date with my fiance and another couple. About 10 minutes later while still sitting at the table the owner approached the table. She was very confrontational and disrespectful. She said" this is the first time I've ever been able to confront a customer that is talking $#!+ about my restaurant". I was absolutely floored at the unprofessionalism and conduct that the OWNER was displaying. I told her that after she displayed such actions I was glad I made the poor Google review of her establishment. Our wives had also noticed the staff talking to other customers and directing their attention at our table in a negative way. our server did a good job and was tipped at 22%.

To the owner: Customers are allowed to review your establishment and should be without the worry of you and your staffs retaliation.

You should always treat your customers with respect and never act aggressive towards them. Your actions were horrible buiness practice.

Customers don't have to like the frozen food that your kitchen serves.

You admitted in your belligerent conversation that you were understaffed, that's understandable.

I have never EVER seen the owner of a restaurant/bar...

It’s extremely dark, the TVs and music were far too loud. There were not enough menus for our entire table of 4. After seating ourselves, the only waitress in the place came over to take out drink order. She was fabulous. Ordered food and regretted it the minute it came out. I had a burger, it was so bad everyone at my table made jokes about the way it looked. My husband’s wings were soaked in a very gross sauce that was just hot, no flavor. My friends got a pizza with light sauce and it was also very runny from too much sauce. The onion petals were delicious but the ranch was like water. I would suggest the Yum Yum restaurant just down the way, far better experience than the hey Turtle IMO, and...

Hey folks if you’re looking for an awesome local sports bar Hey Turtle in Warsaw, KY is the place to be. Taylor, Odie and crew take care of you and the food is always great and served quickly. Now look your not gonna come here for a T-Bone not the place, but if your looking for a great burger and some awesome appetizers this is it!
