Recently purchased a 2025 gsxs1000. Team was helpful originally to get a deal setup over the phone before I drove 4 hours from WI to come and get the bike. Original quote had an additional line that showed an extra $1,800 for an extra warranty, but I was informed that â it was optional and to just disregard that line if I didnât want it.â I said âperfect because yes, I will definitely not be purchasing any additional warrantyâ. After everything was setup, I made the trip to the dealership. On arrival, there was an extremely friendly employee named âJakeâ that worked on the floor. He was seriously great in showing me the bike, asking all questions etc. Then I sat down with the âFinance managerâ which I believe was just a sales guy, (not sure of his name), and this is where things changed. As we were signing paperwork, he was giving me a brief summary and just telling me to âsign hereâ. Luckily, I took the time to look through everything thoroughly, and realized he tacked on the extra $1800.00 warranty that I didnât want. I pointed it out stating again that I do not want any extra plans, and then he stated âthe bank we used to get the rate we agreed on (6.9%), makes it mandatory to buy a warranty plan in order to use themâ which is an obvious lie. He then stated that was also the cheapest plan they had and I countered that by stating it says âplatinum on the planâ which obviously is their highest đ. So I said okay fine, letâs run it through Suzukiâs promotional plan with whatever bank they use, discard the warranty, and see what we get. He then offered me 9.9% interest while I have an 810 credit score đđ At this point I was pissed as I told them before I was coming out, I had a pre approval for 4.9% through educators, but was nervous it might take too many days to setup and I needed to get the bike on Saturday, so I was okay with paying the 6.9% for their in house options since we can then ensure everything will be compatible and I wonât waste a 4 hour trip. Obviously at this point Iâm pissed now, asked for the sales manager, and within 5 minutes, he got me the original offer back we agreed upon, but without the extra $1,800 warranty plan. Obviously this was possible to begin with and the lying salesman just wanted his extra commission. I used to work in sales, and I get people have a family to feed, but you can still be a great sales person by being honest as this will lead to more referrals and more business in the long run. I donât take kindly to being lied to. I donât live in Indiana, but if I did, unfortunately, I wouldnât not recommend this dealer since there is a bad egg in the sales time who would take advantage of a more naive person. Not cool. But regardless, I still did close on the original deal I previously agreed to before I even made the trip out, and now have an awesome bike. The rest of the employees...

On July 5, 2019 while on a fast trip from Wisconsin to Virginia, the fuel line quick connect on my 2002 BMW K1200RS failed in the mid-afternoon just outside of Plymouth, IN.
With the nearest BMW dealership several hours away in Indianapolis, I searched the web with my phone and found Lake City Honda-Kawasaki in Warsaw, about 30 miles away. I gave them a call and spoke with their service manager, Drew, and told him of my predicament. He recommended giving Raven Wrecker Service a call to tow my bike to their dealership and said that he would take a look at it when I got there. I called Raven (also excellent service and reasonable cost) and an hour later had my bike loaded on Raven's custom motorcycle hauling trailer. An hour after that, my bike was in Lake City's shop.
Of course, they had no BMW parts, but Drew used his "McGyver" skills, a couple of hose clamps and a 3 inch piece of plastic pipe purchased from the local hardware store to make a serviceable repair that lasted for the remainder of my trip to Virginia and back to Wisconsin. Given that the fuel line on my bike is tucked tight against the engine and behind the fairing with limited access, it was a bear of a repair, but Drew and his crew got it done, staying almost half an hour after closing time on a Friday evening in order to get me on my way. Their charge for what was at least an hour and half of shop time and a few dollars for parts was less than $100, which I was happy to pay. When I thanked him for the excellent service and staying late so I could make some more miles before dark, his reply was, "that what motorcyclists do for each other."
So kudos to Drew and the crew at Lake City, they were great people to do business with and I would recommend...
Read moreHad an appointment to see a motorcycle. Spent 3 hours round trip to see/drive it. Get there and they tell me I can't see it. No call or text telling me anything. Wasted 3 hours and fuel to get there. COMPLETELY unprofessional, terrible customer service, and a complete clown show. Salesman just did not care about wasting all of my time. I don't know about you, but I expect a dealership to treat it's potential buyers nice. Apparently these people do NOT care about making sales. They obviously do NOT care about their customers. They care even less, I guess, about making a CASH sale. I've shared my personal experince. If you decide to go there, it's on you. I've stated what my experince was. If you have a bad experince, you were warned. I will NEVER go back to this sorry excuse for a dealer. Completely, utterly, UNPROFESSIONAL.
The Dealership's response is very poor. It just shows you how valid my comments about poor customer service are quite valid. I would never bother with your dealership again. The bike was literally washed minutes before I got there. It was still wet and had oil all over the tire sidewalls. The appointment was made at 10 am for a 2 pm appointment. Your excuses paint a very different picture from reality. I wouldn't come back if the bike was free. Complete clown...
