Short version: Get Lowered Cycles provided the best customer service experience I could ever remember having.
Long Version: I planned on doing some work to my Harley, as we all do, and I was doing some research, as we all do. I’ve work in the Powersports industry as a tech for around 10 years and I normally my own work on my bikes. My employee discount at my current job is quite nice so there’s an even bigger incentive for me to do my own wrenching.
I was sending out emails to speed shops within a hundred or so miles of my location to get as much info as possible for how certain exhausts will behave on the M8 platform. This is my first M8 Harley and I just wanted to be sure that I was going to get the power characteristics that I was hoping to get with this next purchase. I figured if somebody gave me really good service, I’ll give them the business and buy my exhaust through them. Most shops I contacted were somewhat helpful, but brief. Some just wanted me to buy their own in house products. Some shops don’t answer their emails. It was feeling more and more like a chore to get the answer to a couple of questions.
Then I contacted Get Lowered Cycles and got a response from Dylan. Dylan sent me a short novel as it pertained to my questions, and I was blown away by the amount of time he had given me. I was for sure buying my exhaust with these guys. We keep talking, and before you know it, we’re ordering a cam as well. Then we’re getting a speaker upgrade. As the emails were exchanged back and forth, I realize that I was dealing with an extremely passionate individual. It was refreshing. It’s so easy to do a job day in and day out a lose a bit of passion and enthusiasm for it. Not Dylan. I was so blown away by his responsiveness and eagerness to work on this with me, I decided that Get Lowered Cycles earned all my business. I bought the parts, dropped off the bike and had them do this install. When I arrive, I’m greeted by Eric and the man is just as enthusiastic and fun to work with as Dylan. We chatted for close to an hour, dialed in the last few details of the build, and I leave them my ride. As this is going on I see Mike, who I also spoke with over the phone, floating around and tending to the shop. This place is super clean, I might add, and just a cool place to be. I had zero doubts that my motorcycle was going to be taken care of and was unsurprised by the result.
Everything was taken care of expertly. The result was jaw dropping. Mike, Dylan and Eric went through the bike with me and, once again, you can just see the enthusiasm and the pride that they take in what they do. They’re passionate. This is what they live for and it’s palpable. Never have I felt so welcomed and in good hands. These three men, and the rest of the team at Get Lowered Cycles are top notch and they deserve as much business as they could possibly handle. The final product was worth every penny and I could care less about whatever savings I could have had by doing everything myself. They made it feel very, very good to just be a customer again. This stage of my build couldn’t have gone any better. I rode home for 2 1/2 hours in the pouring rain with a huge smile on my face. Mike put together a top tier team over in Warminster. Get Lowered Cycles is simply the gold standard for speed shops. Do not hesitate to do...
Read moreI Placed an order for a mustang seat. Never used the company before as this is my first motorcycle I just got. During checkout a glitch happened where the checkout program somehow swapped out my current address with an old one that I haven’t used in 10 years. I immediately….immediately contacted get lowered asking for help and to change the address prior to shipping. They refused stating they couldn’t and it was now in the hands of where it was shipping from. So when a tracking number was generated two days but yet to be picked up I called FedEx and explained to them what happened. FedEx said it was an easy fix but get lowered had to call. I then contacted Get lowered again and they refused, flat out refused…however a few days later I got a email on the day of the delivery stating that they claimed to try and change the address. I contacted FedEx when it was delivered to the wrong address and the representative said that never happened which resulted in the $500 item delivered to some unknown people. I then told get lowered it was delivered to the wrong address which was 4 hours away one way and they suggested I drive there to get it. Seriously, that is what they said. Drive 4 hours to somebody’s house I don’t know and hope it’s there and people are honest. LOL! They then ghosted me once I started asking for my money back. These guys are terrible. Buyers be warned. Lazy, no integrity, thief’s and their excuses...
Read moreoriginally left 1 star because I was bummed about paying $400 for a opened and what looked like used chassis stabalizer that was missing the washers for the dust covers. Also tried to email and call them. I did not receive a reply on the email but they did try to call me a couple days after leaving them a voicemail asking why there policy is that shrink wrapped items cannot be returned for a refund if opened, when I was sent a item that is shrink wrapped to cardboard and was opened and scattered around the box. I did miss there phone call and they did not leave a voicemail but they did reply to my review and I can understand that they item I ordered does have a couple items with some weight so I could see it maybe breaking through the shrink wrapping, but it doesn’t explain the missing hardware if that was the case and it doesn’t seem fair to have a policy that restricts the refund of returned items that are shrink wrapped and opened with the reason they gave me being a possibility. I changed me review to 5 stars because they did call me back within a couple days and the package came on time and the item they sent me works great I did have to buy some washers but all in all it...
