Dollar General — Local services in Washington Township

I love dollar general but a worker named Dave today upset me. So there is no line and we set our stuff down but my mom asks if they have a drink and he showed us were it was and we immediately come back with him to checkout then a lady pushes her cart super close to us at the same time we get back. He barely mumbles something about someone cutting im not sure if it was me he was talking about or not at the same time he starts ringing us up and im very confused at this point. One drink was dripping and dave said it was my moms fault when she it down it fell over but it was already leaking. He slowly rings us up then doesnt pass us the bag from his side of the counter and when we try to get it it falls and he gets upset. Daves behavior seemed like he was on something or having a bad day which is fine but i am left very dissatisfied and almost guilty feeling. I feel like i did cut and it was my fault but he didnt say much more than mumble and didnt tell my mom anything when she returned and rung us up so im not sure if he was even talking to me. I hate when people cut and i myself would absolutely not do that intentionally so im very frustrated. So if Dave or the lady is reading this im sorry for the misunderstanding...

We love Dollar General, it has a wide selection of good that are priced right. If you look you can always find a great bargain. Since the latest inflation things are more that one dollar but you can find the same things at Walmart but this place is cheaper, the stores are relatively clean and kept in good shape. Most of the employees are very nice. The best part is when you are going to your car with alot of bags for one LOW price. I'm so used to having one bag anymore. Good fun...
