This Exchange/BX has slowly gone down in supply and service. Its the closet base and weve used it throughout the years often.
I usually let it go but the last exspierences have been weird, non helpful and accusatory.
Still don't understand why we need to show ID, or rather some people need to to. Its inconsistent. Just implemen the scan of your ID. You already made self service a priority, waiting for an employee to check is unnecessary.
The idea of someone stealing? I get it people steal however Ive seen multiple instances of 1 employee in particular insisting someone was stealing and implying I may have. Ex. One lady (in uniform) checked out. She had maybe 2 items. The employee he waited til she checked out and left - im at customer service for Amazon with her - she then demanded another co worker go check her purchase on the computer and see if she paid at the self check out.
Not having stock/out of stock. Everytime we enter its dwindling products and inventory
Random hour changes. One time I was literally shopping and was told via the intercom I had 5 min it was the middle of the day???. When I approached to check out a lady told the change their hours - she also me not to sat my purse up on the register because she's superstitious. Lbs I cant make this up.
Postive: It seems you've added some more restaurants and even a quick sushi 🍣 place (great idea!) That's one positive lunch for base workers is essential and having healthy options is great
Jbab, between the gyms needing a whole new remodel, electronic meltdowns, the grocery sometimes being expired food etc you all can do a bit better. It's a joint base in DC. Use your funds and support your troops, their families, visitors, etc effectively and...
Read moreI have been searching for a reasonably priced ironing board. When did the price of a ironing board reach $50.00. I said not today! However, when I went to this Exchange I founded a very reasonably priced ironing board and I ran to the check out counter to make sure the price was right; guess what, it was! 😀 All I can say, the Exchange have it going on. Btw, the staff was friendly and the Exchange was clean and not too busy. They may not have a very large selection of merchandise, but I'm sure you can find something you like, something you need, or even something you want. Check them out...
Read moreThey slowly just keep taking stuff away. A third of the store is empty, they stopped carrying outdoor items. You can't even get decent shoe polish for uniforms anymore and the selection of uniform items is horrendous. I've seen smaller bases that have a better selection. What is going on? The last few years its like we just dont care about the military that live or work on this base. I get we have a big civilian population but, its frustrating in D.C to have to turn around and drive to andrews for...
