The chicken is good, but the service isn't so good. I'm new to the place, so I don't know how they operate. I called to place an order. Instead of them telling me they don't take orders over the phone they kept asking me questions like who am I...When I got to the Slip Inn I asked for a 12 piece please. 6 thighs and 6 legs. She said sure and made some small talk. I heard her say a few times to the people in back. "half and half. 6 thighs, 6 legs." With only French fries, hushpuppies, fried chicken, and buffalo wings available, the options were sparse. Moreover, the pricing, hovering around $13 for any combo meal, seemed disproportionate to the quality and variety offered. Considering these shortcomings, diners may find better value and...
