I signed up for a 6-week challenge, and I didn’t know what to expect, but I definitely didn’t expect all that I received! It has been a crazy, challenging, and amazing experience for me and I have learned so much about myself in a very short time. Matt is a fantastic guide, coach, mentor, & trainer. I never felt embarrassed about my lack of knowledge or experience. I felt welcome and accepted by all, just as I am, along with full support and expectation that I am capable of much more. I have been really surprised, flabbergasted even, at my progress in this short period of time, especially at my age (over 50). My strength & stamina have increased, I’ve dropped inches, and developed more muscle definition than I’ve seen in years. My energy levels have increased (I’ve always heard that was a benefit of exercising, but never really believed it to be true - lol). All my excuses for not exercising in the past have been flipped upside down. It has been fun, rewarding, and not as excruciatingly painful as I had imagined. (Although definitely painful most days!) The before, during, and after body analyses were very helpful to see exactly how my body was responding to this “new to me” fitness routine. I’m so excited about seeing the pounds of muscle gained and pounds of fat lost that I can’t help but want to continue working toward my goals.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow in a wonderfully supportive community. I highly recommend WIG to anyone who is looking for a way to get fit quickly and safely in a group environment that fosters positivity and accountability.

Read moreI've been a member at Wrought Iron Gym for nearly 2 years and can't imagine working out anywhere else. The people - from the coaches all the way down to the newest members - are so supportive and helpful. There's always an atmosphere of friendly competition balanced with the desire to watch one another succeed, whether you're just doing a regular daily WOD or you're tackling an Open workout. Every new training cycle or competition gives me a long list of new goals to work for, and there's always someone to help figure out how to achieve those goals. And when things had to close down last year, the owners and coaches worked hard to rent out equipment, come up with daily challenges to keep everyone engaged and motivated, and host Zoom workouts so we could all stay connected. Whether you're just there for a good daily workout or you want to really improve as an athlete, there's programming for everyone. Byrndy, Chelsea and all the coach's not only have varing levels of fitness between them but all approach you with what is best for you. Based on what your individual goals are. It isn't somewhere to work-out, it is a total health and wellness package. The level of knowledge with nutrition is not only expert but based in natural body building without any push of products. It is clear they care about what is best for you and not peddling merchandise to make money. If you want advice on various products it will be given with an unbias, science based, background.
