I received an Elliott's ring for my 9th birthday (a solitaire birthstone) and have returned regularly in the 40 years since. I had a ring that had a diamond come loose. I went to another jewelry shop in another town that tried to set it twice and ended up causing me to put a ring I had worn for 50 years in the drawer for the next two years. Ruined in my own eyes. For small town USA Elliott's treated me as though I was the only customer there. The store was very busy, however I was quickly greeted and helped. I had a small necklace and medallion I needed repaired. The polite young lady explained they would find a new ring to reattach the medallion and weld the ring closed to help reinforce the silver. The service was all in house, prompt, friendly, with small town talk about area towns, and events going on.
