Absolute horrible experience here... I do believe that they sell old stock watches which they have had in their display cases for several years. My dad is a Vietnam veteran, 100% disabled and resides in King Wisconsin. We came and purchased a watch for him on the 25th of August. Today is the 23rd of September. There is a 30-day return window. I live in Appleton, Wisconsin and my dad called me this morning and told me that his watch is no longer working which he paid $311 for. I made a beeline out there to King veteran's home and picked up my father and he had his receipt and we took his watch back here to Fletcher's. The lady who originally sold it to us had to call the manager due to the fact that it was a return. So the lady who owns the place came and took one look at why my dad's watch and said it was past the return window and that he couldn't have his money back or a return. I got a little firm with her and told her that he is a veteran and that there is a 30-day return. And she immediately said that that's only if he never wore the watch. Which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard because the watch was definitely defective. Or the watch has been sitting on the display case for 4 years since it was battery powered. She finally agreed to a replacement after much prodding on my part due to the fact that my dad is blind in one eye and that the watch does not glow in the dark the way we thought it would. I told her she could return it to Seiko but she said that is not the way things work. We picked out a different watch and I got all the way down towards the veteran's home and my dad showed me that the watch was no longer working. It had totally stopped. So I went back and talked to the manager and told her that the watch was not working and that I did not want to deal with us because I have to drive back and forth to King and so I asked for my money back. She said the only thing that she could do was to write me a check so she immediately did so and I told her that it was unacceptable because of the fact I would have to wait 3 days in order to have it cashed so my dad could go somewhere else to buy a watch. She had a fit about this and went to the back room and I believe she went into her safe and was able to take out $300 but she said she took it out of her own pocket and gave us our money back. I do not recommend this place and I do believe that all of their watches are old stock... The other associates I could tell were standoffish when it came to the manager. But the lady who originally sold us the first watch was very kind to me and waved very sweetly to both my father and I. In my humble opinion they need to put a sale on their watches and get some newer stock in... I hope other people have a better experience, but I do know that we will never come back here to...
Read moreMust be a "nice when you spend money" kind of store. My boyfriend bought my engagement ring there and told me great things about the service. So I very much looked forward to getting my ring fitted. When I went in a lady said "hello how can I help you" I stated I needed my ring fitted. She barely said anything to me and proceeded to see what size I was. I made a comment about being "an inconvenience to her" (something along those lines) as it sure seemed by her attitude she wasn't the happiest I was there. She stated "No you're fine" and proceed with the fitting. She had her coworker come double check the size and she ALSO walked out and checked with no good energy. It would take about 2 weeks to get it done. Very shocked that long. Very very very very disappointed and my fiance is too. Won't be going there...
Read moreI've always had special jewelry pieces from Fletcher's that are so beautiful. A few years ago in their Christmas catalog I saw a ring that I knew was going to be my future engagement ring. After the proposal I went into the store to speak with Pat about a wedding band since it's not a typical engagement ring. She put together a whole wedding ring, all pieces from the same designer, and it blew me away! My wedding ring is truly a unique work of art. I looked at other stores in the Fox Valley and nothing compared to my ring from Fletcher's.
