Very disappointed. We flew up from Florida with my 1 and 2 year old and thought this would be fun with the kids since it got good reviews. When I finally got ahold of someone there to book a sleigh ride I was told Monday and Wednesday were all they had available. Monday it was supposed to rain and Wednesday it was supposed to snow. I asked the raspy lady who answered the phone what happens if there is inclement weather and she said they don't give refunds but they had a roof on the sleigh to keep the snow off during the ride. That being said we went ahead and booked it since it had a roof and the forecast was supposed to just be a quick dusting. We ended up driving over an hour and when we got here it was wet snow, and I tried calling to triple check about the ride having a roof and nobody answered. We ended up parking and my husband went to ask about the roof, and the guy was nice but had a lit cigarette in his hand the entire time and told my husband he just went out and got soaked and that the sleigh did not have a roof. He told the man what we were told and he told him he wasn't sure why we were told that before we paid the $45. We asked if they could make an exception for the misinformation and since we were flying home tomorrow for a refund, and he told us no. I get it, I booked it knowing the risks, but I was also told there's a roof so we wouldn't get wet. That's what upsets me the most. What am I supposed to do were a voucher when I don't live here nor do I come here often? Just disappointed by the great reviews when this is what my 2 toddlers, husband and I drove over an hour to experience. The right thing would've been to make an exception one time since we are flying home and were misinformed, but I guess $45 is $45 from our savings for this trip. Very sad my kids and I experienced this. Be careful before you pay and...

Nice Guides Our guides were nice. The path when we went was muddy that day. My horse, Stormy, was temperamental the day I road her. She was not wanting to listen & wanting to make her own path, but I’m not someone who goes horseback riding often so maybe that’s normal….or maybe I should’ve been doing something better. The guides were helping me with how I should hold my reigns & coax my horse into turning. They were there to help & they did.
Unfortunate Communication & Customer Service Experience I had called ahead to ask about pricing & availability, I was told that it was $60 for the one hour horse ride & $50 if we paid in cash. I spoke with 2 different workers & told them that we were going to pay in cash so we would only have to pay $50 a person. My mom stopped by the bank to save the $20 & after we drove an hour to get there the older man who rung us up said that “the person who told you that was wrong, it’s $60...
Read moreGrew up with horses, riding and draft. First thing you do, after saddling your horse and before mounting, is to check that the cinch\girth is tight enough. Have been there twice, neither time has that been done. Both times the saddle was too loose! Within two steps, the saddle was sliding around so much that my daughter would not finish the ride. Second thing you do, once mounted, is to adjust the stirrups to fit the person. Neither time did they do that for anybody there. The trail you ride is pretty much around the fence line, so nothing special but not bad. Trail guide doesn't say anything or tell you anything... Doesn't warn you about the poison ivy growing all around that you could easily brush your leg against if you didn't know about it. If you pay for the longer ride, you go around once in one direction then turn around and ride it backwards - nothing new to see, so not really worth the money. Will not waste my time or...
