This has been by far the best decision I have made in life because if I didn’t make this decision I would still be working at dead end jobs With no knowledge of work in any professional field. From the Dean of the school to the teachers, they make sure to see to it that you are in the best of all hands. They really Strive their hardest to see to it that we the students will understand. It is not just an honor to be here, it’s a PRIVILEGE and I am very thankful and will be forever grateful i made this decision by returning to The best of all schools. I couldn’t thank you all enough. God bless your hearts. P. S. Ms. Ward is by far the ThEE BEST INSTRUCTOR I’VE YET TOO MEET. She will make something that seems impossible very possible because Ms. Ward will not move on until we the Students understand. Ms. Ward even stays after school on her own time just so that she can reassure us that we have nothing too worry about. Ms Ward teaches the toughest courses and I was beyond lost. It seemed like another language and was debating on continuing or not due to that. Ms. Ward sat me down and didn’t continue until I finally understood it 100% and I’m so happy because she motivates me NEVER TO GIVE UP. Ms Meeks, Ms. Brunell, and Ms. Brooks are brilliant instructors as well. In reality, if I could do this then I believe anyone can. They say everything to get you here and registered. Once that’s accomplished, you become an afterthought. Clearly, a for-profit institution. In the teachers defense, some of them are blind-sided by this institution lack of concern for the students self-betterment. Rules and regulations at Dorsey (Wayne) are implemented on a “cover your own butt” basis. These rules also ONLY benefit the institution, not the student. For example, several students had issues after their first module of classes concerning their grade. Instead of addressing the issue head on; Dorsey (Wayne) posted a memo (post dating) weeks later with the intitial date listed on the posting a month prior to the actual time the matter of the grades were discussed. If it was possible to give 0 stars than I would. Dorsey is a big scam!!!!! They act like they care until you are actually enrolled. I went to school here for the Diaylsis Patient Care Tech program, financial aid paid for ALL of my schooling— once I was one class away from my externship they tried telling me I had to pay $8,000 for that class or I wouldn’t be aloud to take it. The teachers do not teach nor care, there are only a select few that do! I had a teacher literally give us cheat sheets for tests to study— because they did not want to teach, it is ridiculous. Even if I were to have graduated I wouldn’t even feel comfortable in the field I went in for because I believe the classes should have been a lot longer, we have people’s lives in our hands and I believe and know that the program did NOT...
