Food is overpriced for the quality. Drinks overpriced. Bar staff can’t count money correctly- I ordered a couple of blueberry lemon drop shots. Total came to 31 and some change. I left a 20 dollar bill and three 5 dollar bills, totaling 35 dollars. While finishing my drink the bar tender came back with a 5 dollars and the receipt. We left the 5 dollars on the table. Walked out.. only to find the bar tender and security walking out behind us saying we didn’t pay the entirety of our bill. Being that it was already embarrassing having security and the bartender bum rush us lying , I gave the bar tender 10 bucks and they walked away. It’s wild that the bartender gave me back 5 dollars and literally said nothing about owing any extra money. Not worth the price. The pictures of the Alfredo potato show bacon bits on it. I ordered it and since bacon was not an option as an add on I figured it came on it. I added chicken and broccoli. $23. I also ordered the corned beef eggrolls. $7. My husband got the steak bites dinner. $24. When he got home with the food I realized I paid $7 for one eggroll. The eggroll was good but not for $7. The potato does not come with bacon, or they forgot….idk. The chicken was over cooked and tough not to mention there was very little chicken and on the menu it is listed as grilled chicken. It didn’t taste grilled at all. I got a few broccoli florets and that’s it. The potato was VERY bland and I had to add my own seasonings. Definitely not a $23 dinner. We were in Detroit waiting to return home to Tampa post hurricane Debby. Rather than stay at the airport for hours, we decided to have dinner and a movie.

Found Brookie's next door to the theater. Sooooo glad we did. This is the BEST meal I've had in a long time. Salmon bites were well seasoned and tender. The yams and greens divine! Husband has steak bites with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. He didn't complain and was quiet due to enjoying every bite. He's very picky and gave it 5 stars. This is a rarity from him...especially when it has to do with steak.

The atmosphere was casual and clean with background R&B playing at the perfect level.

Greeted on entry. Service was prompt and friendly. Drinks were fire.
