CVS — Local services in Wellesley

Went there today for one item. I have been going there for non prescription items since the store opened. I had bad experiences years ago with getting prescriptions filled at any CVS in general. Anyway, I went to the checkout counter and there was literally no one there or anyone I could see looking down the isles. I did not go to the back of the store or yell out. So I waited a few minutes and still nobody appeared. So I used the self checkout but there were no bags. A similar issue happened a couple of weeks back but eventually someone came after I called out. They obviously spent a lot of money redoing the store and it looks nice but lack of staffing has been an issue there for years. A lot of management turnover there also. I use the Linden Street store when shopping at Roche Brothers and they usually have enough help. CVS is in trouble financially but still no excuse for not figuring a way to have the register covered. I live so close to this CVS and I want to use it but it’s consistently disappointed me and my family. We’ve sent dozens of prescriptions here for our family and almost always have an issue. Not filled unless we call, annoyed pharm tech when we do call, sometimes no answer at all, scripts taking multiple days to get filled, my kid’s fluoride tablets always out of stock, long pharmacy lines consistently. One time the tech literally told me they were TWO WEEKS behind on scripts. How is that even possible? My wife also went for her scheduled flu shot and waited for an hour before leaving without getting her shot. The children’s OTC drugs are always out of stock. Worst, unprofessional and rudest manager ever. I went there to drop off an UPS package to be shipped, since they're an UPS Access Point. Package was supposed to be delivered next day. I called them and spoke with them asking why package wasn't shipped yet, their answer they don't know and they don't have access to any tracking information even though I provided them with the info.
