Family Dollar — Local services in Wellston

Just spent $134+ in this business and forgot to buy toilet paper the one thing that we were going to the store to purchase. I knew that they were about to close so I inquire about going to get the tissue. The register lady that assist me said it was ok but the manager said no. Because it was after 8 although there were other people in the store. I told her that the register lady said that it was ok and she replied "well she's not the manager and I said no. I don't want anyone walking around in my store after closing" I replied but I just sent $135 in here and we forgot to buy tissue, you can go get it for me it doesn't matter what kind. She then refused again in a very condescending tone. She was rude, short and use profanity when speaking in reference to a different customer prior to our altercation. She has no customer service skills and should not ever have been promoted to the management team. I will be returning all my items in the morning, calling the corporate office and never purchasing from this...

They typically have good customer service. One of the employees is always helpful with carrying heavy items out because the carts don't go outside. That's much appreciated because a lot of single moms visit this location and it's such an inconvenience to have to go back and forth carrying bags, waters etc after you've just shopped for it, vs taking the cart to the car so the items are closer. Over the past month there has been no option to get a receipt. At first it was one register, now there is no register that offers receipts. As much as I like the customer service and they are close to me, I won't be visiting this location as much due to the lack of receipts and already having to carry bags from the store to the car. A receipt should be offered after every purchase. I understand the shopping cart because of theft of the baskets even though it's a huge inconvenience for those who aren't stealing them but I can not understand the lack of...

store was very small. Walked in the door the store manger (jamie)was very rude. Had a 5 year old with us. Walking around the store to shop. He told him let me follow you around the store you look like you want to put stuff in your pocket. First we dont steal. when we get to the check out he was the cashier. you cant asked him anything with out getting smart. He got mad, he was acting like we was taking to long.He got loud like we his kids. Mind you his my first time being in this store. The other costumers said he always like that. Thats no way you should act when we spending our money. But to accused someone of stealing is wrong. They need fire him asap. i would say shut it down but there is no other stores for people to shop...
