+1 star for owners knowledge, and prompt text upon return of vacation. Seemed nice enough.

-1 star of owner being inconsiderate and not letting us know about a delay of over a week due to scheduled vacation when this laptop repair was urgent.

-1 star for incompetent staff that gaslights. “I’ll call this evening” never calls. “I’ll text you” texts 3 days later. Had to show up in person 3 times to get him motivated.

-1 star for charging almost double upon told price and only fixing the computer halfway

-1 star for the time it took to fix a blacked out screen I could have fixed given the amount of time.

Took wife’s computer here expecting nothing but perfection due to the reviews about 15 days ago. Owner took laptop, and said he would work on it immediately and get back to me. I Called 2 days later and he was “out sick”. No problem, it happens, right? I call 2 days later, and get a voicemail that he is on vacation all this week…Hmm that would have been nice to know ahead of time, when My wife needed her laptop…. I decide to stop in and an employee indicates he’s working on it and it will be done “tomorrow” and definitely around 65.00 price range (I asked)…. Fast forward several days of delays and excuses, the owner returns and tells me my laptop is repaired partially and the bill is 106 bucks. Says webcam is a hardware issue, and needs replaced. Will cost an additional 150. I don’t fault him for this, however it’s left a sour taste...

I noticed my computer getting sluggish rather quickly one day and knew that something was amiss. One call to JDL and he took it the very next morning. I had somehow contracted a rootkit even though I had never heard of such a thing! Within one day's time of working on it, I had that nasty rootkit gone and everything back to better than normal!

I am a repeat customer here and have taken several computers here for various issues. Each time I am greatly impressed with the knowledge and great service I receive here. Everyone should check them out! They do just about anything you might need and it's a more convenient location than driving up to Peach Street or going somewhere downtown.

My laptop battery was not charging so I called Jerry in the morning and he gave me instructions on what to do. He said to call him back if it didn't work. I called him back and he said I could bring my laptop in to have him check it out. I went to his shop and he immediately waited on me. He had my laptop up and running in less than ten minutes!!! When I asked him the price for his assistance, he said he was glad he could help and there was no charge!! I will be using Jerry from now on for any computer services!!! In this day and age, it's rare to find someone who will help and not...
