Ichiban — Restaurant in Harborcreek Township

Last night we decided to go to Ichiban for dinner as we had went last weekend and had amazing food and service. Well what we thought was going to be another pleasant experience turned into a terrible evening. We placed our first order with the waitress I asked for lemons for the water and she said she would bring them out, and she never did. We had to ask the previous waitress we had the weekend before to bring the lemons out and she did let us know that it was the waitresses first night. We ordered food off of the all you can eat menu. Fast forward we waited over 35 minutes for one alcoholic beverage to come out and over 45 mins to even get any of the food. When the waitress came out with our appetizers we had asked for 2 orders of the rock shrimp and only one order came out we explained to the waitress what was missing and she ignored us. Before any of the food had came out we decided to put our second order with our entrees in and again 2 orders of the rock shrimp. We never even got any of the 3 orders of the rock shrimp. Along with we had sushi missing and when our food was finally brought out from the kitchen it was barely warm. On top of that she had brought us someone else’s food twice it was like she was not paying attention to what people ordered. When I went to the front to try to let the manager know of the waitresses service and that she had given us attitudes the entire evening. He basically asked what we wanted him to do and that it was the girls first night and she was still learning. He was rude and did not try to make things better. We will not be returning to this place of business our second visit...

Food was cold and service was terrible. We ordered the all you can eat buffet and after an hour had only received some of the things we ordered (we only ordered 4-5 things including soup and salad because they charge for waste) we had planned to order more after we finished the first round but we're never given the chance. We never received drink refills, we were never asked how the food was (so not given the chance to send back the cold dishes) we attempted to wave the waitress down, attempted waving down other staff (and was blatantly ignored), and went up to the bar but no one was there at that time.. After waiting an hour and being ignored we finally gave up and went back to the bar where we were finally approached by our waiter but just to give us our check. The bill was over 50 dollars! I went to the women that was now at the bar and explained that we never received all of our food, the food we did receive was cold, and we were never checked back up on to order the additional food we wanted to make it worth almost 25 dollars a person. The I'm assuming manager was very rude and just wanted argue. Eventually after back and forth arguing she took a small discount off.

After reading more reviews wait time and rude staff are clearly a problem at this restaurant.

Very unpleasant experience. Will never go back will...

First off, the food was awesome. But that's about all the good stuff I have to say about this place. Now, I understand that I walked into a semi-upscale sushi bar with two kids under five, but my kids were not poorly behaved or running around being crazy. That being said, the wait even just to place an order was absurdly long, especially given there were only two other tables occupied when we were there. The waistaff were rude and stand-offish, and barely came back to check on us. Between waiting on the waitress and then waiting on food and then waiting on the waitress again, my kids were getting so antsy, and I couldn't blame them because I was antsy too. If the purpose of the restaurant is to be able to continually order food, then logically one would assume the wait-staff would check around regularly to see if you're ready for another round. Instead you just end up sitting and waiting a lot. That can be really frustrating, especially when the waitress isn't even nice when she finally does come back. If you're a very laid-back kind of person with nowhere else to be or some time to kill, this might be a great place for you to stop and...
