Dollar General — Local services in West Bend

I was at washington street location checking out tonight, my cashier was an older lady, very upset, rude. This is the 2nd time I have been in there, she has been this way. Prior time she was complaining about having to use the bathroom, not being able to. She doesnt care how she bags things, she just throws them in there, even items that should not be bagged together, way to full, I thought very unprofessional. Tonight there was a lady behind me placing her items on the conveyor belt, she grabbed the marker that is for customers that you put up, in between each customers items to separate them. The rude cashier lady snatched it immediately hitting her hand, my basket, glared at her as she was the devil, told her loudly don't touch that I am useing it to stop this it is broke so I'm useing it to stop it from making it go she was so rude, rough, loud, literally shaking her head, her glare was so un called for. There was no way any of us would know this, the poor lady said I am so sorry that's the thing we always grab so you guys dont accidentally ring up all our purchases, how would I know that you are useing it, same place it's in for us customers to grab, place up. I turned to that lady, shook my head, waited until she got outside, I told her I have never witnessed a cashier look so evil eye, be so rough, rude. A guy who was behind her in line came out, said exact, similar things. Everyone saw, heard her actions. She was loud, rude, rough. The guy said he use to like going to this store, now he rather drive to the other because of her, she has worked there for a very long time, use to not be so grumpy he said. I am a big fan of Dollar General. I have replaced all my paper goods and dry goods that I used to purchase at the local Walmart and Meyers store. I purchase frozen and refrigerated foods also. Saturdays I get an extra $5.00 incentive savings for shopping at Dollar General. The management at DG is the best I have ever worked with. The employees are just as pleasant to deal with. If I had any complaints about DG, it would be on seasonal items you gotta buy while it's on the shelves. If you find coupons on your merchandise, buy it when you see it. The hours are convenient and they are open till 9pm making DG the place to go. There are many choices in my town of West Bend, WI. Dollar General is by far the greatest savings on name brand merchandise. I would recommend DG to anyone who loves to save money on all their favorite...

I was strictly in store for greeting cards (because it's the best deal in town), however, cashier was very rude and unpleasant. As mentioned in someone else's comment, she slapped down that divider stick as if it was the worst thing we did to help out. Every single card I bought she roughly handled while getting the card out of the envelope tuck....as if I knew she had to SCAN each one. I thought I could tell her how many there were....nope!. Made sure I was extra kind in words during my transaction, but turned to customer behind me and said, 'good luck'!
