Small Petco - short-staffed

I typically love Petco, and want to love this one. It's old, and it shows. Upon entering, it feels like they are in the process of shutting down and going out of business. Boxes all about, dirty floors, poorly stocked shelves, and employees look bored to death. Even the lighting seems dismal and doomed.

I hate to see the death of brick and mortar Petco, I used to love to go to their locations and look at the reptiles, birds, etc. More and more, I'm buying everything online, precisely for reasons like this. They had a lot stock of inventory and couldn't tell me when they would get more in of the dog food I wanted. Reptile cages are all but empty - it's just sad.

PetSmart used to be equal with Petco, but PetSmart is easily ahead, especially this location. Maybe it's just management having given up on trying to find worthwhile millennials and gen z to work, which we all understand.

Being so far back off the road and out of sight, certainly doesn't help the cause, but take more pride in the location and...

I gave it a 1 only because of the customer service we received tonight. When ordering my food I had to repeat myself 3 times and then had to basically shout out my order because the girl couldn't hear me. It wasn't that loud in there. And then after paying for our food instead of putting our plates in a bag the cashier hands my friend our plates mind you now we had a total of 4 plates. I had to ask her if I can get a bag for our food and she looks over as if she was checking to see how many plates we had. And I ordered teriyaki chicken with my plate and didn't even get teriyaki sauce for it. So...

I looked for a dog muzzle, and couldn't find one. I went over to the lady( blonde mid 30-40) who trained dogs. I asked her where would I find dog muzzles? She had a ATTITUDE, becuse I interrupted her conversation with a fellow empolyee..( they were casually standing there, not busy) She walked me over to the dog muzzles, and in condescending manner showed where they were. I had traveled from Tooele to that store, only to be treated like I was completely daft for not...
