Beans & Brews Coffee House — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

Stood in line for about 20 minutes this morning to order avocado toast. Got up to the front and ordered - avocado toast on sourdough. I was told by the manager that there was no one to cook food currently, and wouldn't be there until 6. I came back around 615 and waited about 20 minutes again, only to be told once I got to the front that they were out of sourdough.

Have a sign up if you're open and not serving food, and if you're out of something it's helpful to also have a sign. There's always a really long line at this location, but no sense of urgency to get people their drinks or food quickly. In an airport location, when time isn't always flexible this simply makes for a disappointing experience.

I gave 2 stars because the food is well priced and tasty, but the coffee is not for my palate, and the service could be much better. Best to skip this place and try Gourmandise...

I’ve never had customer service, where someone seemed like they hated where they worked more, the girl who helped me was a cute alternative girl who instantly was cold and dismissive she sat on her phone and gave me the side eye of death as I walked to the counter after making my drink I asked to add a little more white cocoa and she started at me taking the drink away, saying nothing after I thanked her, while laughing with her co worker? Would buy a plane ticket just to be able to go to the bean and brew inside of the airport to avoid going to this beans...

My daughter texted me today mid- flight, December 15, 2020, from American Airlines to N.Y., EXTREMELY frightened, from almost swallowing a shard of glass which cut her throat. People are looking at her worries she’s coughing from Covid-19.
