1/3/24 I knew there was a different vibe when I walked in.. two new men working, not friendly at all.. equipment moved around. Someone new did my nails! I didn’t realize what they changed my cc till I walked into Publix next door.never letting me know the change in pricing! They charged me $49.00 for the exact service I received on years of visits! Always was $35.00 plus tip. I was in a rush and didn’t go back to ask why? This week I emailed the contact on the website asking if they were under new ownership and the new pricing??? here is the email response and my email question..

The new owners responded to my email question:

“I appreciate your comments. We will give you good nail prices only if you come to a nail technician named Tim. He helps you make the price not high.”

I will not go back! Such a shame! Michael and his sister were all about customer service and loyalty. I felt like family… I will miss them… —————————————————————— 12/9/23- Michael is an artist! My new set of nails with silver lacquer/ metallic polish & almond shaped nails are beyond beautiful! Always the best service! My only nail salon for the past 3 years! ——————————————————————— This Nail Salon location has recently been completely renovated and under new ownership! My neighbor tried it a few weeks ago and were very impressed! So I decided to try it. This nail salon is so convenient right next to Publix I was hoping to be happy with the service! They did not disappoint! First off the salon is absolutely beautiful! I watched the renovation- They gutted the place. It definitely needed it.. It's spotless and all new equipment! The spa chairs are beautiful -copper iridescent chairs.. great soft music - marble tile floors.. just beautiful! A young lady I think her name is Le... did my nails. I had fills with gel polish. Please note that the owner has response and the owner has not taken accountability for the fact that my cuticles were cut multiple times by the nail drill and that I left with uncured gel twice. As you can see from the previous negative reviews, the owner blames the client and does not take accountability. I was still not offered a refund and cuticles are not healed and scabbed. I will be reporting this location. The issue is simply not due to a color change. The nail tech chose the color and your shop is dark. —

I had one of the worst experiences at this salon 3 days before a wedding.

I walked in and asked for a full set, almond shaped, single color nails, no design. I even provided an inspo photo to the shape and color.

While the nail tech was nice and friendly, the quality of the service was not great.

My cuticles were cut during the initial acrylic and drilling process. My cuticles were not dry or overgrown.

When I walked outside to view the color that the nail tech had chosen, it looked completely different in the light, and all of nails were uneven & very thick. I could also see where the dried acrylic was not filed from under the nail.

When I went back to request for my nails to be corrected, the nail tech explained that she made my nails “thick” because I told her I type on the computer all day & if she did them thinner they would break. I did not tell her that I typed. I work with technology, but I do not work a desk job. Nor have I ever had nails break in the past.

After she fixed the initial mistakes, I noticed that I had uncured gel on the cuticle and skin underneath the nails which I pointed out. About 30 minutes after leaving the salon the gel started to warp, smudge, and flake off revealing uncured mushy gel underneath.

I had to return to the salon an additional time to have the nails removed as uncured gel may cause an allergy. During removal my cuticles were damaged again.

At no time was I offered a refund. I will not return to...

I went in for the first time today. I did not have an appointment. I was greeted as soon as I walked in with a smile and kind words. They were able to do what I asked, and they have a large assortment of colors for gel and dip. Kayla immediately showed me the colors, and started soaking off my nail tips and dip on my finger nails. No wait time. After she wrapped my finger nails, she also placed gloves over it and handed me a pen so that I could use my phone if I needed. Then, I was escorted to the comfortable massage chair for my pedicure. Bee was preparing the area and also greeted me with a smile and kind words. I chose an upgraded pedicure, and I am SO glad I did. Bee did an amazing job!! She was paying attention to every detail on my feet from the rough areas on the bottom, to the cuticules on the nails. The scent of lavendar was relaxing, and not too strong. This pedicure included a longer massage, which she also did an amazing job! It was a treat that I don't normally do, but I am glad I did this time. My feet feel and look better than I expected or had received from other places I tried. All of it, including the longer massage was well worth the additional money. After my pedicure, I went back to Kayla for my tip extensions and dip. Kayla did an incredible job taking care of my finger nails. She is very kind and pays attention to detail. Throughout the services, she asked if I was happy with the shape, and color. I appreciated that because I have been to places that do not ask. I was never rushed, or felt like I was there for an extended amount of time. I felt pampered and loved the shape, style, and color of my new nails. I highly recommend this place!! I go to the Andros Publix all the time, and I regret that I waited until now to give them a try.
