Winn-Dixie — Local services in West Park

Shopped at the store this morning around 815 and was checking out in the express lanes when a customer dropped cash at the express lanes register. More like the self checkout registers. I alerted a gentlemen because I thought it was his, he said it wasn't his, and so a customer behind him stated it was possibly the previous female customer, then the employee a middle aged africam American woman who was working the front of the store assisting ys at the self check out registers walked over picked up the money and and took it to the register where she was working. I'm sure she heard the lady behind the gentleman saying that it was possibly the last who had just walked off from the registers money. Now, I looked up and sip did everyone ends and the lady was outside the door. She had literally just walked out and the gentlemen hadn't even started ringing up his items. The employee didn't even attempt to call the lady to give it to her. It had to be at least 80 dollars or that she picked up or so because I saw a 50 dollar bill and a 20 and possibly a 10 I think. Now when I came to put my bags in my car I watched her come outside to the front of the store and take what possibly looked like the money and roll it up and put it in her pocket in the front of her apron at her breast. If they played the video they'll see it. That's stealing. If she did it then, she's done it before. To add insult to injury I've m the dole salads up to 12oz are on sale. So by the salads they had the sign 2 salads for 8 dollars with 3 dollars of with the coupon from the kiosk. Mind you the salads I picked up are 10 oz and the sale sign is in front of them. So I picked up 2. They are 5.99 each just like the bags... no difference. I go to the register they don't ring up properly I alert the thiefing employee she goes with me over to the salad area confirms my purchase, says OK I'm correct, goes back to the register corrects the sale when we try to use the coupon it doesn't work she calls the manager who comes over and now try to tell me my salads aren't in sale. I told her they are. The sign sign says they are, if they're not ringing up with the coupon you need to fix it or figure it out. She CONTINUED TO ME TO BE RUDE. IF SHE HAD JUST SHUT UP FOR A MOMENT AND WALKED OVER TO THE SALAD AREA AND LOOKED SHE WOULD'VE SEEN THERE'S OBVIOUSLY AN ERROR SOMEWHERE BUT I THE CUSTOMER WAS RIGHT. I don't shop at Winn Dixie often and now I reminded why. If I could give a minus I would. An F is what I would give them. And they need to reevaluate the staff. And take...

This store is located in proximity to the few Winn-Dixies left in Miami-Dade/Broward Counties. It is not far from the Aventura location and the two stores on East Hallandale Beach Blvd. This store is always well-stocked including with the buy one get one free items. Publix is known for their baked goods but nothing compares to the huge and perfect Winn-Dixie chocolate chips and sugar cookies, you can’t eat just one. The store offers good hours of operations and former U.S. Marine, Jose does an excellent job keeping the busy store spic and span and even though he is always obviously busy, Jose is always available to listen to customer comments. There’s a Dollar Tree a few doors down in this plaza that I like to hit too while I’m here for filler items like aluminum pans, turkey basters, greeting cards and balloons. There is plenty to of parking, Lottery tickets are sold here as well as sandwiches and hot food lunches and dinners. The cashiers are friendly and if the lines get too long, management usually opens another lane, if not, we can just holler and before you know it, another lane is opened. We are so blessed in America to have so many wonderful grocery stores to choose from in one area. Jose and associates, keep up...

I went there to make a return the product was bought at another store. They refused to make the return. I asked the rep Maryoris what was the policy on return on fruits. she didn't know and then she told me three days and that I should go look it up on the internet. I told her the internet did not say 3 days. I asked for the manager who never came They had me waiting for over 15 minutes. She called the manager Alberto and she made sure she coerced the info that it was bought at another store. She told me that he told her that it was one week. I was making the return in less than two weeks because the fruits were forced ripened and tasted bad and young. He told her that I should call corporate without having to talk with me. I give this poor level of service. a zero unprofessional, no stewardship, lack of knowledge about store policy, heartlessness, poor service and lack of leadership management skills, task focus rather than customer oriented, they both lied and make up their own rules and they do not care at all.
