The facility is clean, friendly desk workers. However, the personal training coordinator is flaky. I set up a session at 8a.m. to meet. He never showed. I texted him 2 times, no response. Finally, at 11:30, he texted back saying he was sorry and that everyone in the other gym was out sick (but not with covid he mentions). It isn't too hard to text a person to let them know you can't make it, right? I should have known then, but gave him the benefit of the doubt 🤔. Then, we meet. He tells me the 2 days and times he has available. I tell him they will work for me as well. The day we were supposed to meet, he says he has a close contact and needs to get tested but will text me as soon as he knows his results. He doesn't. I finally text him inquiring the results. He says he is negative, but then tells me one of the days we had decided on won't work and we decided on a new day that will. I even check mid-week that we are still on for that day and he confirms. An hour and a half before we are supposed to finally have our first training session, he tells me he can't meet because he won't have time for his kids. Seriously? I am all for family time, but I am pretty sure I got the run around. Very unprofessional. I decided to go with a trainer from GOLD's. I paid upfront for 8 months 2xs a week....
Read moreI did not want to change my review to 1 star, but I originally thought the staff had made it clear to the 15 year old kid who comes in around 6pm to stop loading 3 or four plates on and then dead dropping to the floor but apparently they are letting him continue. I get wanting to push your self but that makes me mad, I should and no member should have to pay equipment service fees for jokers who do stuff like that, there is no drop zone pads just steal to concrete the concussion is crazy, have him use plastic, also letting him bring his personal equipment and lock it up so members have to decipher what equipment is the gyms and apparently what equipment is this kids. I've been a member since you guys bought Broadmoor out and always respect the equipment and people around, this kid has been here one month and is annoying a lot of members who have been respectful and loyal. The gym is well equipped with all the necessary machines and tools to meet my fitness goals, which I truly appreciate. One thing that consistently impresses me is how clean and well-maintained the facility is, creating a comfortable and inviting environment for members. I like to highlight, Brander, an exceptional employee at the club. Every time I walk in, she greeted me warmly, making me feel welcomed and valued.
