Richter's Bait and Grocery — Local services in West Shenango Township

We rented a small and large cabin for 3 nights. When we arrived the sheets in the large cabin looked slept on. There was also water all over the floor from the refrigerator leaking. We dealt with it thinking maybe we were just thinking to much about it. We’ll Friday evening for dinner, the leg fell off of the table and all of our plates of pasta and salad hit the floor. I ran over to the bait shop to tell the owners and to get a mop. I mentioned to the owner that the cabin didn’t seem clean. She did give me new sheets which we appreciated. We assumed the male owner would have come to secure the table leg since we had just propped it under to clean the mess. Well he never came over and then Sunday morning while trying to get breakfast the leg moved again and the whole table toppled over. I was upset when a pizza wasn’t even offered on Friday when our meals were ruined. To make matters worse when I returned the keys Sunday morning and told the male owner that the table had fallen again and we would just have to go out for breakfast it didn’t even seem to faze him. Not even an I’m sorry. This will be our last trip to Richter’s cottages. Cabins need updated and hot water tanks installed as no hot water in the little cabin and only Luke warm in the large...

I rented a cottage here for my vacation. It was awesome. The bed was very comfortable. The cottage was clean. I slept like a baby. The store literally has everything you may want - fishing gear, groceries, firewood, they even sell deli foods! This is an ideal location if you want to be close to Pymatuning Lake and the Shenango River. You are a hop from two beaches, boat rentals, and good trails. Richter's Cottages are well worth your time, your vacation dollars, and the staff...

Great shop! Has a wide variety of items such as bait, groceries, souvenirs and lucky me, they have an ATM... Saved me from having to drive all over looking for one! The staff there was super friendly and were really knowledgeable... Such a huge help with giving us directions! Thumbs up to this store, can't go wrong by stopping because they probably got what you need, if not they will more than likely be able to point ya in the right...
