Dollar General — Local services in West Tawakoni

Went in to buy beer and ice cream, clerk said he couldn’t sell the brown ring blue bell ice cream due to recall, went to rear of store and picked up a gold ring blue bell ice cream only to have the clerk then tell me he couldn’t sell me any blue bell ice cream. I suggested taking items off the shelf that aren’t for sale and received an excuse concerning space, I suggested posting a note, told that wasn’t his job. I left without making a purchase. On the way to Walmart my wife lined up the recalls and it is a voluntary recall for chocolate chip cookie dough and millennium crunch for miss packaging. Dollar General should properly inform their staff in the future, and prevent inconveniencing customers in situations like this by simply...

I was at this store tonight and the ladies that were working closed the store with me still in it… never said anything about closing and just took the register… when I got up to the front the lady proceeded to tell me that she couldn’t check me out or do anything cause she pulled the drawer. She finally let me get SOME of my items and very much contradicted herself cause she said she couldn’t take cash but then did.. all she said was I hope that I don’t get in trouble for this….
